This is a dirty, nasty run down motor inn. Long term tenants looking like a drug alley. A bottle of urine outside the office. Carpet was so disgusting and white stains everywhere. Beds were like set up cots. Cigarette burns everywhere. One towel in a room with 2 (what were supposed to be) queen beds. The sink was stained yellow and all cracked up. We went to ask for our money back and the office attendant wouldn’t even come to the door. He spoke over an intercom and said he would give a refund for us to drop the key in the box. We hightailed out of there for a decent hotel. Cured me of going cheap on hotels even though it wasn’t even that cheap.

This was our 4th stay at the Dartmouth Motor Inn. We find it adequate for a couple of night stay at most. The room was relatively clean, though a box of condoms remained undisturbed under the bureau for the duration of our stay so I would question the efficiency of the cleaning crew! The bed was comfortable, the front desk staff very helpful. The sheets were not in the best condition though they were clean. The towels were somewhat thin; we always ask for extra bath towels to compensate. The Internet is very slow. The flat screen TV is modern but required multiple steps to actually watch something. The heater/air conditioner is noisy and the air blows directly onto the bed. We used a chair to deflect the air flow.

It's pretty spartan. Metal frame beds, nothing fancy. But very clean, good temperature controls. Looks rundown from the outside, but OK inside. Seems like a bit of a rough area. Staff very pleasant. Would stop again for a night.

My family stayed at Dartmouth Motor inn last weekend. The cost was reasonable, the staff very polite and the rooms were clean. As a stop over I think its fine, but you have to be realistic about what to expect. The furniture is dated and there are few amenities.

The room was very nice, the bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and the location is ideal. The hotel is close to many restaurants and stores. If we're ever around we will definitely stay there again!

Dartmouth motor inn has come a long way in the years I've been traveling. This family remodeled rooms and did a great job taking over this hotel cleaning it up and having great customer service. Great

The room was clean and had the basic needs - a comfortable bed, a desk and chairs, TV, refrigerator. But no extras. The room could use some minor repairs. The bathroom door did not close properly. We chose it based on the price, and it provided what we needed for a reasonable cost. We were there for just a one night stay on our way to another destination, and it was fine for that purpose.

Nothing beautiful but was clean and got the job done. Check in was friendly and efficient. The price is a lot for a motor inn but that's the market of the area. Any other motel in the area including New Bedford that was comparable in price has awful reviews. The reviews for this motel weren't great either but we gave it a shot. It turned out to be a decent place and most importantly to me was clean and comfortable, and in a safe area. Amenities: one soap, one shampoo/conditioner, clean towels, mini-fridge, microwave. NO hair dryer, breakfast, clock/alarm, There is a decent variety of places to eat nearby (Wendy's Applebee's, Olive Garden, Chinese, Domino's, etc.) Also very close is a Super Walmart.

It has been many years since I had stayed old timey 1930-40-50s style motor court. I usually stay at Hampton Inns or Fairfield suites but I was flying up to New Bedford Mass. on short notice and literally made this reservation on my phone while waiting for flight attendants to tell me to shut off phones and other handheld device. I saw good reviews for DMI on TripAdvisor and thought "what the heck" . Pluses: clean rooms , Friendly nice staff, great value, on main bus line and easily accessible by Über and Lyft, not far from Fall River or New Bedford Minuses: Rooms are beginning to appear dated, had a rather drab color scheme (matter of taste), outside is dated, some highway noise (eliminated by my white noise app) room somewhat small Makes me re-evaluate motor inns.

This was the grossest place. The couch had what looked to be blood stains on it. Had white stuff down front of couch below the stain. White stains on carpet. Sink was nasty and so was shower. Someone opened bathroom window in bathroom from outside while I was showering. Never going back go my money and went to a higher class place.
