This is an historic inn which has been updated. Although the exterior still looks "historic," the interior looks about like any other place you've been. This is not a bad thing if you are essentially looking for a comfortable place to lay your head for a couple of nights. I would not, however, characterize it as very "cozy" or "romantic."...

Very nice historical building, located in the very center of Chatam, within walking distance of shops, art galleries and to almost any restaurant. Our Queen Room was very large and comfortable, with a lot of space (we were a family of four), a porch and a small private garden. There is a nice pool with towels service included. The staff...

Very nice hotel with a perfect location. However, seemingly unfair billing left a bad taste in my mouth. Booked a room for "Up to 5" online for $240. After checking out, they added $65 because we had four people. Apparently the $240 rate is for two people?? A room is a room. And nowhere, when I booked online, did it...

Dear Dave G I am sorry for the confusion you encountered while making your reservation. It is my understanding that when you placed your reservation online only one adult was entered for a room featuring two queen beds. As none of our rooms are exactly the same,we explain in each description the amount of people each room will hold. I...

Love Chatham in general, husband and I love the cape in the fall. Everything is still open but you can actually drive around places without massive amounts of traffic! This was our first time staying at the Wayside, and its prime location, large comfortable rooms, and cozy fall/winter decor were perfect for a quick little escape. Walking distance to almost...

Beautiful Inn situated in the center of Chatham. Wonderful room with patio that overlooks the town common. Great breakfast buffet and gracious staff. While my spouse was stuck in meetings I enjoyed all the shops and galleries within walking distance. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful location in downtown Chatham, MA. What a picture perfect New England Cape style village. Restaurant, the Wild Goose Inn, was also spectacular. Certainly NOT a "hotel restaurant", but a magnificent restaurant near (at) a lovely bed & breakfast hotel. Customer service was just as expected. Rooms were quaint and updated.

This is a lovely hotel in Chatham. We stayed for 2 night and ate in the hotel dining. The staff can't be any more friendly! The rooms are extremely spacious with a great porch facing the golf course. The only draw back at this hotel is that the floors are very squeaky and walls a little thin. You can hear...

We were looking for a place to stay in Chatham when a hotel that couldn't accommodate us recommended the historic Wayside Inn. We checked it out and feel we couldn't have been more fortunate to stay here! It's in the heart of Chatham, on Main Street, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and art galleries! The accommodations are very nice,...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on the weekend after Labor Day. We were in Chatham to attend a wedding. The charge for our room was $750. Our room had a king sized bed and one arm chair. So, when we watched TV, one of us had to sit on the bed. Our room was called Grande...

First of all the place looks brand new,but it was built in 1860. Second they have a nice pool. There are towels at the pool. Third the service is very good. They will hold you room key if you leave the hotel. Last it's in great location.
