We have stayed at the Chatham Highlander three times. It is by no means a high end property, but it is a great place to stay with kids and a wonderful value. It is also fantastically located, close to all beaches and a very quick drive to the center of town. It has two pools and the rooms are basic... More

There really is no better value in Chatham Massachusetts then the Highlander. When a friend of ours was renovating their home their the contractor would stay there and it was just lovely, we also had a wedding in chatham this past weekend and a couple of our friends guests stayed there and it was an amazing experience for them and... A decent “budget” alternative to pricier Chatham lodging. The spare décor (no headboards) and throwback motor court layout is offset by many positives: cheerful & helpful front desk staff; quieter than expected (set back from Rt. 28); very clean; good mattresses; refrigerator & coffee machine; updated bathroom fixtures; nice toiletries. Within easy walking distance of the Chatham Village Market (open... More

We booked a room at the last minute. Usually you have to stay a minimum of 3 nights, but they allowed us to stay 2 nights, We were in room 207, their Deluxe King room. The room is large and the bed was comfortable. They had changed some things since we last stayed in this room. They had new comforters... More

The location was great. The room was clean but old and needed some attention. Wasn't especially clean. I would have been okay with all of that if the person at the desk hadn't been so incredibly rude and unaccommodating. Cape Cod motels depend upon guests being happy - I guess the Highlander can afford to be a run down hotel... More

Found this motel online and it was fine...inexpensive, clean and friendly, plus in a good location for Chatham Main Street. The room was large, 2 double beds, comfortable, quiet. Parking outside each room. We would stay here again.

I stayed at the Highlander for one night, in town for a memorial service. Found an available room through Booking.com, at a reasonably low rate. Sometimes I have been a bit disappointed when choosing rooms this way, but this one turned out to be a little gem! Easy to find, close to the center of town, sparkling clean, free wifi,... More

We were there off season for a "girls weekend" The room was affordable with 2 queen beds. Very clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Will stay again and recommend to others. Very quiet and plenty of parking. Could walk to downtown,a 20 minute walk. We had a great time.

I stayed at the Chatham Highlander for one night and chose it for it's close location to a conference that I was attending. It was very clean, easy to access and the owners were very accommodating.
