My husband and I have stayed at the Bird's Nest B&B 3 times. We've tried other B&B's in the area and they were good but the Bird's Nest is our favorite. Pat, Cindy and Dennis are warm, welcoming, knowledgeable on the area and cook the best breakfasts. The location is perfect, quiet with beautiful scenery and close to Shelbourne Falls.... More

We had a wonderful time from the moment we entered the establishment. We came up to see our daughter who attends college here. We were very tired after a long drive and we were too tired to go out to dinner. We were offered craft beer, cheese, and crackers with apple cake for dessert. The living room was great to... More

The hosts were very welcoming, the rooms were sparkling clean, the house is historic, and the breakfast was delicious and generous. ON top of that, the price was extremely modest. Their charming dog, Yoda, was a bonus! We used this as a home base to explore the Connecticut River Valley (to the east/south) and the Berkshires (to the west). We... More

Got stranded and unable to make our reservation. We only received kindness and concern from Cyndy. Followed up with a stay two weeks later and were received with extreme warmth. Breakfast amazing and overall hospitality cannot be beat! So Good!

Cyndy and Dennis (the owners) were amazing. They made us feel like family and even made breakfast for our whole family of 16 on Sunday morning. They use all local and fresh produce. The room was clean and private. I highly recommend the Birds Nest and we will definitely be visiting again.

Just as I sat down, DETERMINED to write a review that could shed a glimmer of light on how FANTASTIC our weekend at Bird's Nest was, I read the other reviews, written by those who felt a similar need to sing praises and I thought I was too late, it's already been said, I have nothing to add, the art,... My husband and I have stayed twice here during Franklin County's Cider Days celebration. We now book the following year's stay before the weekend is over. Rooms are excellent - firm mattress, luxurious sheets and warm quilts. Detached bathrooms are like staying at a friend's home - no hotel feel here. Fresh made breakfast with juice, nice assortment of teas,... More

Perfect place for a getaway. Close to Berkshire East and some great little towns. Hosts were very helpful and breakfast was delicious! Staying at the B&B gets you discounts at the mountain and in local restaurants. My girlfriend had never skied so it was a great place for her to try it out. The house is full of little treasures.... My 9-year-old son and I stayed at the Bird's Nest for a weekend recently, and we LOVED it. Cindy and family are kind and laid back and know the area so well. The breakfasts were AMAZING, and featured delicious local foods. The room was spacious, comfy and sparkling clean. It was truly like staying with generous friends who cook really... More
