With Carolyn's blueberry pancakes, relaxed conversation, beautiful grounds, immaculate pre-Revolutionary War house. Carolyn's cheerful, attentive, common sense presence. It permeated our family and the other guests too.

Step back in time in this beautifully preserved historic 18th century tavern, situated on a quiet road, decorated with period antiques and surrounded by a lovely garden and 7 acres of grounds. Not only were the accommodations comfortable and authentic, but the breakfast was outstanding both days that we were there. The homemade apple cider and unbelievably fluffy blueberry pancakes...

My sister and I needed a place to stay that was close to our brother who lives in Chester. We chose the Baird Tavern Bed and Breakfast based on the proximity to his house. Carolyn is such a lovely lady and she makes the most fabulous breakfasts and her coffee (even thought she's not a coffee drinker) is superb. I...

We just returned from a visit to Massachusetts and stayed at the Baird Tavern for a few nights. We were going to the James Taylor concert at Tanglewood and wanted a B&B to stay in. An authentic 18th century home in excellent condition. The furniture is mostly from that period as well. Carolyn is a great hostess. She makes absolutely delightful gourmet breakfasts. If you want to spend quiet time in the Berkshires, this is an excellent choice.

What a step back into time! This 1600's home feels like a living museum with its hostess Carolyn meticulously and lovingly keeping it alive and welcoming. Beds were super comfy, breakfast amazing and Carolyn could not have been more gracious. Someone mentioned road noise, well, yes like most AUTHENTIC period taverns they were almost ALWAYS located near what were once...

The home is set off by itself off the Mass Pike and the grounds were just beautiful. In addition the home and rooms were just so lovely and cozy, and I...

My wife and I had a marvelous weekend at Baird Tavern. A small historic B&B in the middle of the Berkshires. Carolyn was a great hostess. We met some very nice folks there and loved Clark the Nepalese Terrier. The location was great, near Jacobs Pillow and Tanglewood. Breakfast is wonderful with fruit pancakes and if you like Bacon this...
