Stayed at the Harrison's Chesapeake House Sunday night. The place is a bit dated but it adds to the charm and takes nothing away from it. The staff was friendly and helpful, no complaints at all. The room was small but it was very clean, well organized and just what I needed for a quick one night's stay before my... More

Did a one night weekend stay off season to meet up with some family. The staff was very friendly, from the inn to the restaurant. Noticed no noise from other rooms, and little from the docks in the morning. The rooms are plain and small, just fitting the two beds and dressers. Beds were comfortable. I've always said that a... Thank you for your comments. We are in the process of replacing/repairing all of the decks and railings at this time and the carpets do need to be stretched in some rooms. We hope you can try us again in season and enjoy the Crab Deck outside. Thanks again.. Steve Book General Manager More

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for my daughter's wedding on Saturday, October 29, 2016. We checked in on Friday (preparation day) and also spent Saturday night after the wedding. We had a room in the separate building (closest to the closed swimming pool and volleyball court). The room was carpeted with a tiled floor in the bathroom.... More

This property was probably terrific years ago. It is pretty run down now. Although they are clearly attempting to spruce it up, it has a ways to go. The bathroom in our room was recently renovated, but the towel bars all kept coming off the walls. The carpet was really shabby and stained. And there was a coffee stirrer on... More

We are often in the area year round and have often eaten at Harrison's.....but going in off season and mid week is a real no-no! We entered with a few patron seated inside and out....but could not find anyone to let us know if they were still serving or seat us....took about 10 minutes to search someone down. We seated... We stayed here one night as we attended a wedding on another inn on this small island where there are 3 total. The reviews said don't expect a hilton so we didn't but neither we expected such a run down property. After getting our key we climbed up the stairs (that were used as hotel storage) to the 3rd floor.... More

We stopped here with a group on a sport fishing charter out of Chesapeake Beach and had wonderful crabs. Having lived in Maryland for 40 years, I've had my share of steamed crabs, and these are as good as any I can remember. The service head great, and the deserts were perfect. If you are ever on the island, this... More

Stayed here with my fishing party recently and can't believe how far it has fallen in just a year. Last year at this time it was on its last legs but wow...safety issues abound from expired fire extinguishers, to lack of lighting on the steps and upstairs breezeway (important for those of us getting up and out before sunrise for... I had read the reviews so I was hoping for the best. I was wrong. This was the only hotel that would take a one night reservation on a weekend so I was stuck. We paid $149 for a semi water view room and it was definitely semi. We stayed in room 501.The room was clean, that's about it. The... More

Fabulous food! Home town atmosphere. I had my wedding there and I don't have any complaints. My spouse and I are locals, and bring our out of town family and friends there for great food, atmosphere and personalized service.
