The Inn at Norwood is a large Victorian style home located in the small town of Sykesville, MD. A friend referred us there as it is located conveniently close to our granddaughters. Initially we stayed in the Winter Room in the main house and it was cozy & comfortable. In later years, we wanted more privacy and opted for THE...

We used a third-party search engine to find this B&B, but booked it directly on the website. We got a 10% discount for using their preferred payment method and that was easy enough for us. I snatched my boyfriend away for the weekend and on the way back, he thanked me for a nice quick getaway. I was fearful it...

The husband and I were visiting family in Sykesville and this is the only gig in town. We like traveling and booked "the loft", which is above the garage, and I believe the biggest room. First the good: the owners seemed friendly and the breakfasts wax morning were delicious. There was a lot of thought as far as small touches...

We recently spent out wedding night at this wonderful inn. The proprietor let my wife and her bridal party check in early to get ready for the evening ceremony. Following the reception we enjoyed a peaceful evening in "The Loft" room. The room was spacious and more than roomy enough for the 5 person bridal party. The fireplace was cozy...

We drove into the tiny town, looking forward to a birthday celebration and romantic getaway. You can see the lovely inn as soon as you turn into the street, it is nestled at the top of a steep hill – gazing over the town. It was quite expensive, so we were hoping for great things! We arrived in the dark,...

We rented the Winter and Fall rooms for a wine weekend with another couple. To say it was lovely would be the understatement of the year. It was nothing short of spectacular. The food was wonderful, the rooms clean and sparkly with everything we could possibly need. Each of our rooms had a double Jacuzzi tub which was exactly what...

We received a gift certificate from friends to stay here. We visited wineries all day and then stayed at the Inn at Norwood. The owner greeted us and was very welcoming - showed us around and got us settled. There were chocolate chip cookies always available, as well as a little fridge stocked with sodas and waters. Snack bags of...

Returning from a cruise from Baltimore, we stopped at this little B&B for a night. We stayed in the "Summer Room" which was gorgeous. But if we get to visit again, I will splurge for one of the bigger jacuzzis. But this suited our needs. The little snacks left downstairs were a pleasant surprise. As this was our first B&B...

The little town has been passed by....perhaps it is what has made it so wonderful....The local businesses are clean, and our stay, which was a last minute decision, was wonderful...A old home, well maintained and CLEAN...the aroma of bacon making its way up in the morning as well as the scent of freshed brewed coffee.....the hostess was inviting and was...

The Inn at Norwood is very lovely, we took a peak into the others rooms and they all looked cozy. We stayed in the Fall room, the large tub and fireplace sold me when looking online. Most B&B's have tiny bathrooms, so this large spacious one was very enjoyable! The host and hostess are very kind, but not intrusive at...
