To maintain our vegan lifestyle, my wife and I are very selective about where spend overnights and eat out, especially on special occasions like our 12th wedding anniversary. We were very pleased with the lovely accommodations and warm hospitality provided at The River Gem BnB. We were very comfortable in our room, found a lovely grill within walking distance that...

We had a fabulous visit to Pokomoke. The B&B is gorgeous and charming and super comfortable. The food was amazing -- waffles with peach ice cream, pillow cakes -- and there is lots to do nearby. The restaurant, coffee shop, and discovery center are all walking distance, and Chincoteaque is an easy drive. It's a great beach for kids --...

Our stay at the River Gem was fantastic, but the highlight was the food. It was superb every morning. On day 1, we had a blueberry and peach crumble, a homemade granola parfait, and waffles with fresh peaches. Day 2 was blueberry scones, fruit, and "pillowcakes," a cross between puff pastry and pancake, stuffed with fillings like ham and cheese...

Mona, Aurora, and Violet have a special thing going here. We were greeted with treats, iced tea, and a kind smile upon arriving, and departed filled with good conversation, company, and four-course gourmet breakfast. If you can squeeze this into a trip, my wife and I highly recommend The River Gem BnB.

Our stay at the River Gem B&B was such a delight! First of all, I loved that Mona was so understanding about our reservation. We reserved a room for Sunday night, but soon found out that it would be a rainy weekend. We called early on Saturday morning and asked if we could stay at the inn THAT night! Mona...

Last spring, at the height of our cabin fever in New York, we set off on a small road trip, assuming we'd find some lodging on the Delmarva Peninsula. Well, it's kind of deserted in March, as you'd know if you had ever been there. We hadn't, but it was still lovely--really beautiful--and we enjoyed the drive down and the...

I was a little nervous about staying at a b&b cause my husband generally doesn't like them. But I'm so glad we did! Mona & Violet were so hospitable! We felt very comfortable in the Ruby room which is very private! It was exceptionally clean and it felt like we had our own apartment as the house is very well...

This B&B is not just a place to stay it is a whole wonderful experience. The hospitality the comfort and the truly marvellous five course breakfast make this B&B outstanding. Mona is generous with her time telling stories about the culture and the area. This welcoming spot is a magical place to stay. The Ruby and Sapphire rooms are large...

I was looking for just a stopover on a long drive south, but this almost became the highlight of our trip. In fact, we deliberately planned it so we could stop here on our trip back up north. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and very clean, with lots of lovely touches. And the breakfast! It was almost too much...
