This is just the best place to have a restful time away. Our second visit confirmed even more how gracious and helpful the innkeepers are. Our breakfasts were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Our room and bed were extremely comfortable. We also really love the beauty and quiet of Oxford,MD. Anne

My husband and I just returned from a relaxing and enjoyable weekend at the Ruffled Duck Inn. The hospitality was wonderful, our room was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious! At check in we received many useful tips on activities and places to eat and told we best not forget to visit the Scottish Highland Creamery for ice cream! Oxford...

We stayed here for not only our anniversary night, but it also happened to be the same night as my 30-year class reunion. Oxford is a wonderful little town, and the Ruffled Duck Inn was the perfect place to spend the night after going out for the evening. The owners were wonderful, breakfast was fabulous and we had good company...

Enjoyed our weekend getaway at The Ruffled Duck, on main street in the quaint hamlet of Oxford, Maryland. During our stay, we found everything to be very nice: Room was large and comfortable, location allowed walking to shore-front restaurants, interesting shops in town just blocks away. The local creamery, the Scottish Highland Creamery (http://scottishhighlandcreamery.com/) was a treat upon itself, and...

Oxford Maryland is a lovely small town on The Eastern shore, and the Ruffled Duck Inn is a wonderful small B & B right in the heart of the quiet Chesapeake area village. Whether you arrive by boat, ferry, car or bike, you should quickly feel right at home at the "duck". Innkeepers Dennis and Joyce welcomed us warmly and...

This was our second visit to the Ruffled Duck and we were delighted to have the same exceptional experience that we had last year. Joyce and Ed are wonderful innkeepers and graciously accommodated a very late check in (especially for Oxford). We borrowed the Inn's bikes and had a great time biking around town and over to the far shore...

Wow! Oxford, Maryland and the Ruffled Duck are like one of those charming scenes out of "Mayberry RFD". Joyce met us at the front door, took us through the house, advised us on places to eat, see etc...of course you can walk everywhere. Our room was at the top of the stairs and had an individual a/c unit so we...

The B&B is very quaint. Joyce and Ed are very nice, very welcoming, and very accommodating. We had to leave early one morning, missing their wonderful breakfast, but they insisted we not leave in the morning without taking something with us, so they had fruit and scones ready for us to take on our way out. The rooms are unique...

The Ruffled Duck was, in many ways, a spur of the moment decision for my wife and I to just get away from life for a long weekend in January. We knew we wanted to head over to the Eastern Shore having never been there other than on drive throughs down 19 to VA and now being DC residents, figured...

“All three rooms are nice with different motifs. Two have queens and one has a king. If you are very tall, you might hit your head on the walkway to the bathroom from one of the bedrooms if you aren't careful.”
