My 11 year-old daughter and I stayed here two nights while visiting Ohiopyle State Park. We found the accommodations to be ideal, for our needs. Clean, comfortable and cozy with a very reasonable rate. Close to Deep Creek Lake, full of good eateries. The owners (Joe and Mary) are real nice people and I felt good being able to give...

Due to a few plans going awry, we booked over the phone at 10pm on a rainy Friday night. Mary and Joseph, the couple that run the Inn, were incredibly accommodating and friendly, very helpful, and gave us a great rate. The rooms were large, very clean, and comfortable, included refrigerator and coffee maker, small table. The only drawback was...

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel because it was recommended by my cousin. The place is really quaint and very clean. The rooms are a bit dated but that doesn't bother me. The people who own the hotel are very nice. The pool is a nice size and has a heater. The room was pretty spacious. The hotel...

My son and a couple of his friends stayed here for the weekend while skiing at WIsp. They had a few complaints - creaky beds, ran out of hot water - but the price was right compared to other hotels/motels in the area and the rooms were clean. For travelers used to staying at Marriotts and Hiltons (like me), this...

I have stayed in a lot of hotel rooms in my day, and for the price and location, this is a lovely hotel. The rooms are obviously redone, very clean, clean and refurbished furniture and mattresses. Very spacious and the owners are really nice people too. Would def come here again and recommend it to people.

We stayed for a night before going to ski at Wisp. The room was not fancy, but very comfortable, and clean. It was perfect for the price range. The couple who run it were quite friendly. (ps: the only thing that might have been missing were clothes hangers)

Honestly, I was a little worried when I drove up the the place. The house (it's a mom & pop) on the property looks a bit run down and the coffee shop is closed and looks a little worse for wear. I had a room on the 2nd floor over looking the pool. Good bed, clean sheets, a window you...

Really you have to discard your first impression. And, if we are honest, your second. I opened the door to my room and feared I had selected the wrong option in Friendsville -- but in my experience after a few days, I think I would stay again. My room was a king room on the second floor facing the pool....
