My wife and I had not been to Chesapeake City in over 10 years and decided to try a local B&B before the summer season started. The Blue Max Inn met all of our expectations. We stayed in the Christina Suite on the 2nd floor. All rooms have a balcony but ours felt more private on the side of the...

Nice location. Average accommodations and breakfast. Idk if I would stay again. Nothing exceptional. Best part is the location...lots of little shops and restaurants near by. Staff was somewhat non existent. Was not a horrible stay but was expecting so much more. Just average.

The Blue Max Inn is a lovely Inn right in the heart of Chesapeake City, a small fishing town on a large canal of the Chesapeake. It is in walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and places of interest. The Inn was decked for the holidays when we were there and it looked lovely. Christine is the Innkeeper but we...

My girlfriend and I have the pleasure of staying here in October. The room and deck were just great and everything in town is just a short walk away. Breakfast was really nice and we got to meet the innkeeper. I will stay again next time I am in Chesapeake City.

I was on a long trip and found the Blue max inn by a bit of luck. What a great spot!! Very nice and a great little town with fantastic spots to eat with in walking distance. I want to get back and really check out the town.

My husband and I stayed 3 days at the Blue Max in the honeymoon suite. Access to the room is through the house and the kitchen, but this is typical of the houses in that area. The room was very comfortable with beautiful appointments, comfortable seating area, gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. They served delicious breakfasts at a time...

Everything you could want is offered at the Blue Max--a beautiful interior, cold drinks in a communal refrigerator, graciously sized bedrooms and baths, a comfortable mattress, generous linens, a homemade afternoon snack and tea at the ready in china cups, a 3-course breakfast, a lovely lawn, and the owner hostess who is there to help but not to intrude. Chesapeake...

Inn owner Christine was very friendly and helpful. Inn was Clean, Neat, and Attention to DETAIL! Lovely appointments. Excellent breakfast. We came by boat and the Blue Max was a short walk from the Chesapeake City town docks. Easy walking distance to beverage and food. Plenty of shops. I'd stay there again!

We came to town for a family party and found this wonderful, comfy, inviting place to stay. We stayed in the Randall room and had a section of porch to ourselves. We parked the car as we were able to walk most everywhere. The food was delicious and the owner and staff were warm and welcoming.
