We had the best dinner tonight. Chief Clark's special appetizer was awesome, oysters with lobster, sauteed with breadcrumbs. The duck dinner and the fried chicken with pumpkin waffle was amazing. Of course the blueberry Martini was perfect. What a great fall menu! We will be back.

Edie the hostess was fabulous, she sat us right away. Told us that we would enjoy the sunset and the food. We did both. Fabulous cocktails and delicious apps. The brie app was so good. Different menu from the other restaurants in the area and it was reasonably priced.

The best happy hour used to be their sister York Harbor Inn, but what a difference a season makes, this summer it is by far the Chapman Cottage deck. Drink were excellent we had the margueritas and white sangria to start, but then had to delve into a specialty cocktail. All were excellent. We got 4 tapas all $5. Avocado...

We stayed at the Chapman inn for 2 nights. We were disappointed to say the least. One has to check in at the York harbor inn and then travel to the Chapman inn. We were left to find out own way and carry our own bags to the 3rd floor. We stayed in room 608 after being told we were...

At the recommendation of other York vacationers, we stopped in to Chapman Cottage for their wonderful Happy Hour. We were greeted by Edie who was the most friendly, wonderful hostess we have met here. With their $5 drinks and appetizers served on a lovely terrace, it was a great time, and we will be back. Hope Edie is there when...

I had a very nice dinner with friends at the Chapman Cottage on a Saturday night in mid-July. We had no reservation but were lucky enough to get a table on the porch, where a guitarist was playing. We started off with cocktails - I chose the Maine blueberry martini and hate to report that it was a disappointment. But...

Stayed three nights in June at the Chapman cottage of York Harbor inn, and will not be going back. Although there wasn't anything really bad about it, I thought the place was only average for what the reviews and the website lead you to believe. Our room was quite small. I had booked what I was told was the luxury...

The jacuzzi tub was spotless and such a fantastic feature...Huge bathroom with superior bath products. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and above all it was very quiet and tranquil. There is a restaurant and lounge...

this place has been there as long as I've been in York about 7 years, but has recently been renovated and bought by the YOrk Harbor Inn, which is a good thing. We had a birthday celebration there last sunday night, about 9 people, a pretty raucous mixed group of various ages. The place is an old, very old, quaint...

Had a lovely visit to York Harbor, Maine in October and were instant fans of our stay at Chapman Cottage. Checked in at main reception at the York Harbor Inn (~ a mile down the road) and were blown away by the beautiful view of the ocean and cliffs. Were greeted warmly with cider, coffee, and cookies upon check-in. Our...
