We often travel to York for long weekends. My wife and I booked a room for the week and couldn't have been more pleased. It was so much better than overpriced hotels we have stayed at in Ogunquit and York. The room was fantastic, very clean and had a great view and a gentle sea breeze. We really enjoyed the...

I made arrangements to stay at the Franklin Guest for my family of 12. We were delighted with the house and especially the view from the front porch. There is now better way to have your coffee than sitting in a rocker with the waves practically hitting your face! The best part was that everyone could do what they wanted...

Truly a stone’s throw from the beach!!! The Franklin Guest House is THE perfect family vacation home, just steps to the beach. Once you unpack your suitcases, you instantly feel at home. We rented the home for a week in August, 2014. Marianne and Darcy were wonderful to work with, so accommodating, and I felt that I had known them...

The owners are VERY friendly and our room and the whole home was VERY clean. It is a shared bath, but who the heck cares, we arent there...

Guest house located steps from beach. Love the rocking chairs & staring at the beach while I rock & the view of The Atlantic Ocean From my room! Owners are super sweet & very accommodating! Shared bath, but who cares, the house is pretty much on the beach on Long Sands in Family friendly York Beach! Can't beat the $100...

Centrally located on Long Sands Ave., within a few steps of the wide, soft sand beach of Long Sands, York Beach, is a quaint, ultra clean, very comfortable Guest House with a huge wrap around porch (her flower boxes are to be envious of!) with "Kennedy" rockers to enjoy the sea breezes, sun and moon rises over the water, and...
