My husband who loves snow was excited to be able to find a place to stay up in Maine at the beginning of school vacation for us to just go see snow. Well, to be driving about 3 1/2 hours and being so excited to see about 4 feet of snow on the ground it was a great reprieve to...

My wife and I stay at The Waterford Inne for a weekend getaway. Barb and Jan made us feel right at home. Our room was so very quaint that it reminded us of our home. We highly recommend the Waterford Inne.

The pleasure was all ours. So enjoyed visiting with you and trading stories. We both felt as though we were entertaining old friends in our home. Look forward to your next visit. Barb and Jan

Great stay here. Clean comfortable old Maine farm home. Historically decorated with modern comforts. The wonderful accommodations are only superseded by the kindness and care of the hosts Jan and Barbara. The food is delicious and served eloquently. If you want to experience Maine's beauty, history and kindness put this place on your travels. The home and property are very...

Haven't forgotten that snowy night when you guys landed here after having shoveled out friends' camps all day. You looked like you need some pampering and we were glad to provide it. I knew that there was a reason why I decided to make a pot of "hearty" soup that day and who better with whom to share it but...

The Waterford Inne is not easy to find, which is part of its charm. My GPS said "You are entering an area where turn-by-turn guidance cannot be provided" - but I eventually found the place, a large, rambling early 19th century structure set on a hill in the Maine countryside. For those who really, really like getting away, the Inne...

Barbara and Jan are true professionals! My husband and I have been staying at The Waterford Inne for over 25 years and each visit is the highlight of the summer. Every room has it's own theme and the decor is cheery. Home made muffins in the morning are a real treat and make sure you stay for dinner. We enjoyed...

No matter what the business, you can always tell when the proprietors love what they do. Barbara and Jan have created a destination, not just a place to stay. The inn has been masterfully created from a 19th century farm house. All the character and charm of the period is present along with modern conveniences seamlessly sewn into the whole...

We stayed back in 2013 and promised a review but life got in the way. Our road trip of New England was absolutely enhanced by our (late long weekend booking) stay at The Waterford. Great hosts, wonderful food (why eat out?) And a great location. 3 years on and we still remember our stay. Go Red Socks Barbara!!

We've been going to the Waterford Inne for about 23 years. Our most recent visit was for two groups of six people each to go on day long dog sledding adventures with nearby Mahoosuc Guide Service. The Inne is a marvelous New England B&B in central Maine. The history of the Inne's building is long and fascinating. The B&B is...

Thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Barb and Jan, everything at the Inne was wonderful! The decor was so interesting, lots of things to check out, plus each room had it's own personality. The food was fantastic, especially the dinner on Sunday night. A special treat; the Banana souffle to top it off! Great place for a group rendezvous, or...

Set on the edge of the quiet village of Waterford, this historic Inne offers a great opportunity for a relaxing break. Barbara and Jan made us very welcome and made every effort to assist us and ensure that we had a wonderful time. We booked for dinner and enjoyed their home cooking oriented towards the seasonal local dishes. Mornings and...
