What a top spot in KZN's beautiful Midlands. Top notch accommodation with stunning views of multiple dams and farm land. There is so much to do too! Fly fishing, Canadian canoeing, walking, mtn bike riding, photography, adventure golf, doing the extensive midlands meander, playing golf nearby or eating out at one of the many restaurants! From Sam at reception to Angelique and Neville in management, we were made to feel like royalty. Also kudo's to the entire maintenance team who are clearly on top of everything! Well done guys and THANK YOU!

Oh but I did love the place. I'd rather not post a review in order to keep Whispering Waters a well guarded secret. It sets the benchmark for timeshare getaways. We stayed a week in the Villa. Well appointed with top brand labels. Every comfort is attended to. Spacious accommodation, large beds, oodles of lounge seating, a separate dining room, well kitted kitchen, thick white towels, fluffy duvets, extra blankets, underfloor heating, gas stove, double door fridge/freezer, beautiful en suite bathrooms and a large patio to admire the view. Whispering Waters is a working dairy farm and watching the cows loudly bawling for admittance to their lush field every morning certainly added to the ambiance. One can amble around the property or take a gentle kayak around the dams. There is also a swimming pool. Whispering Waters is serene, quiet and soothing. Simply beguiling. We traversed the little roads around the Midlands stocking up on farm fresh produce and prolific baked goods - lunching out at one of the many eateries that liberally speckle the area - and hauling back our treasures to feast on for supper. Explore the Midland Routes and admire the creative artists who call this home. The place is a veritable destination for gastronomic gluttony. Blueberry Cafe is a must do if only to admire the loos and or alpacas. A beautiful well run resort. It grieves me to say don't hesitate to visit.

Checked in on the Friday afternoon. Very smooth procedure and the GM Debbie made sure we were all sorted very quickly so we could get to the chalet. Chalet incredibly luxurious and well equipped/spacious. Beautiful scenery and made for a very peaceful weekend. Will definitely visit again soon.

We stayed in the Log Cabin 1A at the entrance to the Resort. The welcome was as good as it gets. A glass of sherry was enjoyed while the two ladies gave us a introduction to the Resort. The Log Cabin is a three bedroom unit with two bathrooms. The spacious open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen led out onto a wooden deck with built in braai overlooking its own trout dam. We enjoyed our meals while watching a malachite King Fisher diving for its own feast and each morning and evening we looked out for a duck mother with her 9 strong brood, alternating sheltering them under her wings and teaching them to look for food and improving their paddling skills. Two yellow billed kites occupied the top branches of a dead tree in the water every evening and may have been the reason that the duck brood was only 7 when we left. It was January 2020 and the lush vegetation and beautiful scenery along the Kamberg and Dargle Roads made the lunches we enjoyed at Granny Mouse and Notties Pub even more special. Nothing is better than seeing green cornfields, a herd of Appaloosas and stunning scenery of mountains and dams in the valleys forming well maintained farming lands. I could go on and on. Debbie and her team run a tip top resort and my only concern is that other people might want to go there and restrict my ability to return!!!
