The owners have updated all the rooms with new paint, flooring, bathroom fixtures, and a nice deep bath tub. However, the screen doors bang, alot. We could hear the people in the next room talking and watching tv. Room 5 is next to the office, so you hear everyone arriving as well. It does not have a bureau or even...

This is the second consecutive year I've stayed here. I did not choose the space - it was chosen for me by the group that I am traveling with. I'm a long-distance bus driver and as such, I don't get to choose where I get to stay. That said, last year, the room I stayed in was a bit rundown,...

Ok, first off, this place is a hiker hostel that caters mainly to the travelers on the Appalachian Trail. It is basic, no frills and cheep. That is what an AT hiker wants and barely has enough funds to afford. There are private rooms, but the old living quarters for the resident manager have been converted into a hostel lounge/kitchen...

We found this motel clean including the bathroom, the bed was reasonably comfortable, and the amenities (microwave, mini-fridge, wifi, and parking) to meet our needs for a one-night stay while passing through Maine on a camping trip in the summer. Check-in did not require face-to-face as a note was on the office door and key was in the lock. Check-out...

The doors going outside each don't close correctly, and require a struggle to shut. The bathroom is old and run down, the floor in it is horrible and the carpets stink. The beds offer no back support. The place is cheap and that is about it. The windows don't keep the cold air out in the winter. Stay away from...

This is primarily a place for AT hikers to spend a night in town. There are only 5 private rooms, nothing fancy and not terribly cheap, but o'k; there are nicer and somewhat more expansive places in Stratton to stay at. Breakfast is not included, but is available at the diner just across the street for about $10. There is...

Having mentioned we will be late, after the usual check-in time, the lady of the place told the room will be still available... Due to some traffic jam and other GPS wrong indications, we headed that place very late... closed right after midnight... We were surprised because the office was widely opened, laptop on.... lights and keys available to enter...
