We throughly enjoyed our stay at the inn at southwest. Dora and Daniel were great hosts. They gave us good food recommendations, helped with hiking and suggestions of what to do around the island. The breakfasts were AMAZING. Panda cotta, pancakes, quiche, peach crumble, apple dumpling, eggs Gruyere in our three days-every item was so awesome! The room was comfortable...

Thank you for your wonderful comments about your stay. We strive to make our inn as welcoming and comfortable as possible and we very much appreciate hearing that we are doing just that. We thoroughly enjoyed having you stay with us and are hopeful that we will see you again, sooner rather than later.

Our stay at the Inn was extremely pleasant from beginning to end. Mckenzie was very helpful and informative, Dan and Dora are awesome in the kitchen. The room was pretty and comfortable, with an extra bonus of a sitting room. We were very sorry we couldn't stay longer, but happy we were able to spend one night!

We stayed 3 nights at the Inn and had an outstanding experience. The Inn is cozy and charming, decorated with some unique antiques. Dora and Daniel went above and beyond to make our stay so amazing. Daniel's gourmet breakfasts with fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade delicious afternoon snacks - cookies, brownies, lemonade - were fantastic. Dora is so friendly...

We stayed here for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Dora and Daniel made us feel right at home. The house is certainly old, but we couldn't believe how nice and clean the room was. It's the perfect place to stay to feel the charm of Maine while still enjoying great accommodations. The breakfasts were incredible. We will dream about...

We stayed for 5 nights at the inn, and it was amazing! We were able to eat the incredibly delicious breakfasts outside on the porch every morning before heading out for the day's adventure. The cookies and fresh made lemonade were a perfect afternoon snack after a full day of hiking, kayaking, and mini golf. The fire pit was a...

I've stayed in many b&b's over the past 15 years...this is by far the best. Dora and Daniel made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Daniel's breakfasts are not to be missed, especially his lemon blueberry pancakes and fruit tart. Dora is just so warm and helpful with just the right amount of reticence. The inn itself is immaculate. We...

The Inn at Southwest is a beautiful Victorian Inn with remarkable architectural features (curved walls and high ceilings). Charming decor with fun touches throughout. Well-maintained inside and out with a welcoming porch and lovely garden. First time stay on the "quiet side" of MDI - absolutely lovely. The Inn at Southwest is a lovely Victorian right in the center of Southwest Harbor, and is beautifully run by Daniel and Dora (and capably assisted by McKenzie!) Breakfast each morning was superb, and the afternoon cookies outstanding. We will be back!
