The food and atmosphere are amazing. However it is not cheap to stay here. Our cabin was clean and the fireplace was stocked with wood for a fire. The food was great but it killed my diet...I absolutely loved the place.

The winding forest road that leads off the busy highway is like Alice's rabbit hole, a portal, that takes you from the hectic pace of your life and drops you in a beautiful and effortlessly authentic lakeside camp straight out of the 50's. You are offered a glimpse of life at the Migis when you call for a reservation (there...

Thank you for visiting our ‘bit of a magical place’ last summer, and we appreciate your pleasant and honest observations about Migis Lodge.  We hope you found that making a reservation over the phone was informative and efficient, giving us a chance to fully explain our variety of accommodations, recreational activities and menus.  We are pleased to take a check...

We visited Migis for a wedding later in September so I cannot speak to what the place is like in July. There was almost no one on the lake while we there which I'm sure is different than the case in the summer. Very attentive staff, simple but wonderful food, and a drop dead gorgeous location. Sauna was right outside...

Our family of four recently stayed at Migis Lodge for two nights. “Migis” is an Abenaki Indian word meaning “place to steal away to rest” and Migis Lodge is just that. We stayed in Firefly Cottage: Knotty pine interior, comfortable and attractive furnishings perfectly appropriate to the setting, fireplace (fire set up and ready to light, extra wood handy), and...

We travelled here in late August with our family of 4, including kids 9 & 12. Unlike most of those we met, it was our first time at Migis; the place has a loyal following of families who have been coming for 20-30 years. The people we met were all very friendly, and it's the kind of place where you...

Thank you for the review of your recent three night stay at Migis Lodge. We are so pleased that, overall, you loved our family owned and operated resort! Your remarks have had us looking at one of the defining features of Migis Lodge; the full American plan meal establishment. Migis has always run on AP, as many hotels did in...

The magic of Migis hits you when you're sunning on a float after a swim or skimming across the water on water skis. You feel 7 years old without a care in the world at summer camp. Except the food is delicious and you can drink as an adult. Great business model as activities are included in the expensive nightly...

Tucked into a corner inlet of Sebago Lake, just off of Route 302, is another world. Peaceful, serene, beautiful, and gracious is Migis Lodge. I attended a wedding there over 20 years ago and always wanted to go back. Now I'm sorry I waited so long. Boating of all kinds, water skiing, tennis, wellness/fitness classes, hiking, swimming, shuffle board, horse...

Our family just spent a week at migis lodge! I am leaving with rest, relaxation, wonderful family time, and so many new friends. I cannot say enough about the service, the beauty of the grounds, and the exceptional food. This place runs seamlessly and nothing is overlooked. My kids, boy(10) and girl (8) were so sad to leave and begged...

As we have a place on Sebago, we haven't been able to justify staying at Migis Lodge, but we have had the pleasure of dining there when the restaurant is open to the public, not just their guests. We went on the buffet night, and wow - it was fabulous. Lobster, all kinds of seafood, steaks, chicken, pasta, vegetables, breads,...

I read the reviews online and visited the website before booking. While it looked beautiful and tranquil yet rustic, A few people had complained about it being musty and there being bugs. We stayed in the ledges cabin and experienced neither. The property is sprayed for bugs and its definitely apparent when walking around in the evenings. The cabin we...
