We stayed for a week here while visiting in South Berwick. We had never stayed in a B & B before and Paul and Lee made it such a great experience that we won't hesitate to stay here when we return. The house, the rooms, and the food was amazing. Bed was comfortable, bathrooms clean and modern. The Academy Street...

My wife and I stayed at the Academy Street Inn for six days whilst visiting relatives in South Berwick. We were given a warm welcome by hosts Paul and Lee and made to feel at home immediately. Our en suite bedroom was spacious, light and airy and beautifully furnished. The Inn itself was beautifully decorated with fantastic wooden panels in...

Paul is a wonderful host and if you are going to be in the South Berwick area (or what the heck, make a point of coming here) you should run, don't walk to this delightful Inn. The breakfasts are amazing, the rooms are inviting, homey and comfy and the place just feels "good," and all in all leaves you feeling...

Had a lovely experience at the Academy Street Inn last weekend - the place feels like a home away from home! Lovely, historic building with plenty of space. The front porch is a delightful spot to have a drink at the end of the night and watch the world go by. Paul was a great host - cooking a delicious...

The house is beatiful, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast here three mornings in a row, and each meal was fabulous. South Berwick is a sleepy little town, but it provides convenient access to York and the surrounding area. We loved our stay.

This place is perfect for a couple, family, or single. Located in a quaint Maine town, this beautifully maintained Inn has everything you want. The food, the furnishings, and the hospitality are top rate. Great location for day trips to the beach, the mountains, LL Bean, Portland, Portsmouth. You should add this to your travel destination list.

Our stay at the Academy Street Inn was fantastic. Wonderful furnishings and incredible hosts. The town is a typical New England town and you are only a few minutes from the Maine beach. This is a must stay place!

We needed to get away and wanted to find an affordable B&B near Ogunquit, Maine as we'd never been to that area even though it was only 3 hours away. The inn was very spacious and the inn keepers most gracious. The breakfasts were superb and varied, never with the same ingredients even though we spent 3 nights there. We...
