i stayed 3 nights at Higgins in July 2011. overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay. the hotel is one block from the sand beach as well as a small roadside coffee shop/market, which was everything you need without having to use a car. the hotel also had a nice restaurant and great outdoor seating. the hotel and restaurant appear...

Went here last weekend and will have to say it was the worst! It smells musty and the rooms are filthy, to top it off the staff is extremely rude, will never go back, i advise anyone thinking about staying here to find someplace else!

Stayed at the Inn just one night (had to leave to beat Hurricane Irene!). Room was cozy, absolutely immaculate and charming. The location was super. And the in-house restaurant was SUPERB! We had a room with private bath but the community bathrooms were done with so much taste and amenities, I can see where they could be easily considered.

The Inn was a really bad experience for us. We were shocked when we entered the room to discover that the decor seemed from a long, long, long time ago. Furniture appeared extremely old, the floor was uneven, wallpaper and paintings were falling off, etc. etc. etc. Honestly, the room looked like a museum. Also, there was a disgusting smell...

Our family had a wonderful multi-night stay here in early June. Charming rooms - exceptionally clean and a simple, very tasteful decor. Very comfortable beds and sinks in the rooms were much appreciated. Coffee was ready early in the AM for sitting outside on the large front porch to watch the walkers/joggers stroll by. Great not having to pay for...

We just reurned from our stay at the Higgins Beach Inn. We stayed at the rental house across the street which is so great for families. The restaurant is right across the street. We had some of the best food we have ever tasted. The staff is so sweet and friendly and the atomosphere is very quaint and elegant. They have...

Bed and Breakfast type Inn with many rooms. Some are small and some have shared bathrooms, so make sure you know what you are booking. Great location to Higgins Beach without paying the on-the-beach prices. Great restaurant attached to the Inn. Loved their newest addition, Cash the Golden Retriever.

One evening was spent at this delightful Inn. It was not enough. We can hardly wait to go back again and spend more time at this delightful refurbished Inn. Much love and effort has been put forth in making this a comfortable, friendly and beckoning property. The restaurant (Garofalo's) was perfection from service to fare. Priciey but it was gourmet....
