Beautiful place right at the river and close to the lake, lots of activities (we did stand up paddling, took a boat on the lake, did some hiking, went moose watching), terrific hosts. It was the highlight of our three weeks in New England.

Our cabin was right on The Moose River. Whether you've got a boat or floatplane, you have docks to accommodate. Cabins are clean and quite cushy for the folks that don't like rustic. We had basic cable tv, and that was nice when it rained! Wi-fi was weak, but we could check our e-mails from outside. We enjoyed everything about... More

Amy went above and beyond to fix a problem I had made with booking our rental. We had a beautiful lakeside cabin that was perfect for our kids to go fishing, swimming and kayaking. The Moosehead region has so much to offer but this rental property was the icing on the cake

We enjoyed our stay so much, the kids are still talking about it!! The cabin was so clean and the beds were freshly made. The views and relaxing setting were totally understated on the website. The owners took us up river with their tubes to float down the river. Our kids paddle boarded, kayaked, canoed, as well as played on... More

Though the weather was not ideal, my friend and I had planned a trip to Maine to get away from the New York life. We had dreary skies and cold weather, but the camp we stayed in was absolutely wonderful! The camp was affordable and came fully stocked with cooking gear (ie. pots, pans, plates, glasses) and paper products (i.e.... More

We stayed in cabin 12, "Joe's Smelt." The cabin itself is amazing, plenty of room to ramble and explore, and find two hammock chairs in the screened-in porch overlooking the moose river. The big stone fireplace and low, bare-beam ceilings give it the exact Maine charm that your heart is seeking. Once you go out the back door, the Moose... More

Our cabin was clean and had plenty of room. Some cabins need updating (but this is camping and should be more about being outside) this camp offered use of multiple kayaks, canoes and paddle boards and fishing poles if you forgot yours. The owners are very helpful with questions and directions. They offer to help get you where you need... More

Amy and Steve were awesome hosts. They were so welcoming and friendly. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. Their campsite is beautiful and he so much to offer. We played with ducklings and kayaked onto Moosehead Lake, with their kayaks they let us use for free. The wildlife out there is so cool, we saw 2 moose and a big... More
