Ledges by the Bay is a travelers dream hotel. Beautiful views, immaculately clean rooms with comfortable pillows and bedding, Keurig coffee and frig in room, balcony for relaxing, and a nice breakfast room with good choices for every taste. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and well kept. I only wish we had more than one night to enjoy... More

What a great place! My room was lovely.Seemed newly renovated. The view is to die for. My own little balcony for reading and enjoying the in-room Kourig coffee. Slept like a log with the sea breeze and the comfy bed. Should have stayed longer. Lots of good restaurants to try. I like places with personality and this once has it's... More

Very good price. Room decor was nice. The room was extremely clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. The hotel grounds were manicured and the view of the bay and beyond was first rate. Good coffee and continental breakfast the next morning.

We stayed in the Retreat off of the main hotel for a week during our wedding period. The space was fantastic and the only complaint I have is that the maid service didn't come for a few days while we were there. Other than that the view was fantastic. The large sloping lawn down to the Bay produced many great... More

My husband and I stayed at Ledges By the Bay and were very happy with the accommodations. The room we had was large and comfortable and, very clean. The bathroom was spacious and we especially liked the extra sink outside of the bathroom. There was a larger refrigerator than you usually find in motels. A small microwave oven would have... More

I stayed at Ledges recently for the second time. Facilities were wonderful - comfortable, good amenities, beautiful and well-kept property that is peaceful, modern technology such as wireless internet and Blue Ray player. The heated pool was a treat. Free breakfast in beautiful sunny space with great view and binoculars. I will return often.

My fiancee and I stayed at Ledges by the Bay for 2 nights. The heated pool area was clean and great to spend lots of time in. The view from our ocean view balcony was breathtaking. The shore access was just rocks, not able to walk around. The staff was friendly. The included breakfast was amazing! Home baked goods, different... More

We have been staying at the Ledges for decades. The size of the complex and its amentities have significantly changed for the better over the years. The overall beauty of the site and the the excellent staff have remained unchanged. If you are in the midcoast Maine area and want a truly special place to stay book a room at... More

Planned on staying 2 nights but added a 3rd night because we were so pleased with our find. The room was comfortable, the grounds lovely and the staff quite pleasant. The added touch of binoculars in the room for viewing the bay was an extra treat. Wonderfully fresh baked items made the mornings start on a sweet note. Will most... More

My husband and I just stayed here for our 5th anniversary, and it was beautiful. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The linens were all very nice (none of those scratchy motel towels). There was a TV with a DVD player, and they even supplied a pile of DVD's to watch!! There was a computer... More
