I do not like to give negative reviews as I know it is someone's livelihood, but from the minute I entered I wished I could get out of my two-night reservation. Upon arrival, we entered the brownstone inn and there was an envelope with our name. We followed the instructions to the third floor to obtain our room, door left...

It's like staying with relatives in a beautiful old house. The smell of coffee in the morning is delightful when waking up. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit, muffins, juice, pies, and more. The generous complimentary amenities (snacks, sodas, tea, etc.) are a nice touch. Wonderful, comfortable bedding. Everything was clean and well kept. The staff was top notch, efficient,...

I booked our stayed as last minute trip for 4th of July. We were lucky enough that someone canceled their rsvp and was able to a room at much cheaper price. The area is very pretty and secure. I arrived at the inn and nobody was the desk but found an envelope with all the information need. It is very...

We stayed just one night, an anniversary splurge. It was wonderful! The Inn lives up to its website and travel site reviews - cozy, clean, comfortable, lots of little touches (like M&Ms by the bed, free soda in the fridge, great directory explaining all the Inn's features and local attractions). We met one super-friendly staff person at breakfast and checkout....

I stayed at the Percy Inn on a recent day trip in Maine. After pulling into Portland at 7pm without a hotel room, I called the Percy Inn to see if they would offer a last minute rate. They offered a great rate and upgraded me to a suite. Their location in the West End is near many of Portland's...

My husband and I had been given a gift certificate for three nights at the Percy Inn. What a gem it turned out to be! The directions that we received to get in and find our room were clear, humorous, and very accurate. The room, itself was cozy and made us feel very much at home. The decor was lovely...

This charming and comfortable B&B couldn't be more conveniently located, in Portland's Historic West End -- 2 block from the Portland Art Museum and close to many of Portland's amazing restaurants and shops. And did I mention free off-street parking so you can leave your car and walk everywhere? Rooms are nice decorated, bathrooms updated, and breakfast offerings plentiful and...

I won't be looking for another place to stay the next time I come to Portland. I'd describe the whole operation as "laid back" It's a smaller operation, so the front desk isn't always manned, but a quick call from the phone at the front door connected us to the innkeeper, who gave us the entry code. We found our...

My fiance and I stayed here recently as went to a concert at the State Theater and it was great. The walk to the theater was maybe two and a half minutes and after it was nice being so close to our room. The Inn was very clean and quiet. We were definitely impressed and would recommend this Inn. Thank...
