My recent stay at the Chadwick was amazing as usual. This trip I traveled with out my husband. I stayed in my usual room, the Chamberlain. It was as cozy as I'd remembered. I stayed two nights. Things were very clean and the food was to die for like I knew it would be! My only complaint is that I... More

We stayed at the Chadwick for four nights. Scott and Adam were excellent hosts and had lots of information on things to do and places to eat. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There are always snacks, coffee, tea, and water available. We had an amazing breakfast every morning!! The location is good and there are so many... More

Very friendly owner, and staff. Very comfy bed. It was a 20 minute walk to the center of town, very easy to get to. A made to order breakfast in the morning was a great personal touch. We enjoyed our stay very much and our next visit to Portland will be spent at the Chadwick. They do have wine on... More

Although the B&B was not within walking distance to attactions, I would still recommend this B&B. The place was spotless and the breakfasts prepared with care. Scott helped with restaurant recommendations and reservations, even in cities on the way to our next destination.

So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at The Chadwick and that you took note of the hard work that they staff puts into keeping the inn as spotless as possible! It is always nice to hear that the work is noticed. All of the bed and breakfasts in Portland are located in the West End of Portland.... More

We would recommend the Chadwick, in particular for the room and the character of the house itself, the huge and delicious breakfasts and the attentive and friendly hosts. The property is a bit of a walk down to the front but that was no problem and there are plenty of taxis at night if you want a cab. There is... More

We stayed at the Chadwick for three nights and have only great reviews of the experience. The hosts were wonderful, the beds were sooo comfortable, rooms were clean, and the restaurant recommendations were exceptional. I travel to Portland every fall for business and have stayed at other hotels and B&Bs and this one is the best. As an FYI, the... More

This is our third time staying at The Chadwick in three years and it won't be the last. Scot never fails to impress with anything -- terrific food, beautifully appointed rooms, super quiet atmosphere, gorgeous curb appeal. Took Scot's recommendation for a dinner spot and hit up Boda on Congress St -- amazing! And this year's savory breakfast -- a... More

Scheduling a B&B/hotel for the first time can be a little nerve-racking. I was encouraged by the Chadwick's excellent reviews and had high hopes. Luckily, my hopes were validated by my girlfriend's reaction. We both loved the Chadwick! We stayed in the Chamberlain room and were a little worried that the bathroom was not en suite. Again, it was not... More

This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast and we picked the right one. We stayed 3 nights and wish we could have stayed more. Breakfast was fantastic. Our room was warm , welcoming and large and added touches like fresh flowers and robes made it very comfortable. Scot and Adam were helpful and have great suggestions... More
