Wonderful stay, declisious breakfast and a charming hostess. The house is beautiful and was easy to get to from the airport. It was convenient to downtown. Our room had a small balcony on which we enjoyed sitting.

We absolutely loved The Chadwick. The entire experience was amazing. The Chadwick experience from start to finish was top notch. Erin who is the assistant innkeeper was so friendly and welcoming even before we got there. In advance emails with check in info as well as a phone call to give us parking and other pertinent info. Made us feel...

We're back! The same four couples returned to The Chadwick again this past weekend because we loved it so much last year. Our rooms were neat and clean, our breakfasts were fabulous, and we love the home-baked cookies! The location is ideal because it is so close to the downtown area. On Saturday, we took a 90-minute harbor cruise which...

This is a great property with informative and friendly staff. The amenities are endless and the breakfast was the best I have ever had at a B&B - Thank You Erin! Quiet and relaxing and decorated beautifully.

I stayed in the Baxter Room with my fiancee for three nights (Sunday-Wednesday). Staff were extremely accommodating with everything from modifying the breakfast menu to recommendations for dining and activities in the area. The innkeepers were unobtrusive yet readily available for any possible needs, although they also supplied us with a 24 hour number to reach any inn staff if...

Just had a great weekend at the Chadwick. Location is perfect. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars or take a quick uber. Breakfast was delicious, as were the homemade cookies offered each day. The house itself is beautiful and the staff is excellent.

My husband and I stayed at The Chadwick on a last minute trip to Portland while visiting family about an hour away. The room was wonderful - nicely decorated and a comfortable bed (we stayed in the Chamberlain room). The breakfast was excellent and Erin is very friendly. This place has lots of little extras - multiple types of snacks...

My girlfriend and I had an excellent long weekend in the Chadwick. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The food was excellent (both breakfast and great snacks). We enjoyed walking into the busier parts of Portland (and were in town in winter). The only negative is that our bathroom wasn't en suite, but it was just for our room...
