Anchorage inn is gorgeous property overlooking the Marginal way Cliff walk and the ocean! This is indeed Gods country! My family and I loved it and the restaurant was excellent as well. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Anchorage by the Sea. This was our first trip to Maine and the Anchorage was the perfect location. The grounds are beautifully kept, and although the building may be older, our room appeared to be recently updated. Very comfortable with a beautiful view of the grounds and the ocean from our second floor,...

The view from this property is wonderful. The grounds are very nice. Big, white Adarondac chairs to sit in and look out to the sea. But, the rooms in the Tower are old. Reminds me of roadside motels in the 1960's. The bath towels were threadbare and had holes in them. My 30 year old towels are better than theses....

Stayed for one night for a quick get away with my mother. Misleading room description: there is no partial ocean view in the side rooms further away from the ocean. However the room was clean, nice, the view from the restaurant and the meadow in front of the hotel is beautiful, staff is friendly and th atmosphere is relaxed. I...

We went for dinner and returned for lunch later in the summer. Great food and great people. You find all the typical dishes of the New England but in a great location. I recommend highly the 2nd floor, despite the more limited menu (bar fare) you have the best view of the Ogunquit bay and the sunset. Nice place for...

Was fortunate enough to spend three days in this beautiful resort. The rooms are angled to be able to take advantage of views of the ocean. One of the nicest, biggest bathrooms I have ever experienced in a hotel. Nice walking path to Perkins Cove for shopping or dining. Also an easy walk to the center of Ogunquit and the...

Great price, gorgeous views from the balcony, right across the street from the beach, you could hear the surf rolling in. The rooms were decorated in cool beach colors, the blankets and sheets smelled fresh and nice. Definately a great place to stay!!!

Spent a night by the rocks and sea in an ocean front room. Right on the Marginal Way, Had a nice restaurant on property. Rooms are little dated. Small Bathrooms, no plugs on the desk or night stands for phone charging. A/C and heat are different systems, took a little time to figure them out.

We stayed at the anchorage by the sea in september for our anniversary. We got one of the rooms on the 2nd floor with the fireplace and king size bed. It was a very nice room and very clean. The check-in went smoothly and the people were very nice. The marginal way is a nice walk along the ocean which...

The perfect location!! Views if the ocean, access the Marginal Way for a walk to Perkins Cove, and walk to stores and restaurants. Park your car and enjoy beautiful grounds, ocean view, pools, hot tub and restaurant. The staff is kind, friendly and always helpful. Restaurant and bar is very good.
