Had business in Wells, Maine. Found this B & B on Tripadvisor in route and at the last minute. The place is run well, very well. Comfortable, immaculate along with the Innkeepers "Linda & Dick" that know their stuff. Only stayed on a Saturday night, slept well, I rarely take breakfast, the coffee was fresh and the little I ate... More

My wife and I were looking for a getaway to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Ogunquit popped onto the radar when we decided we didn't want to drive too far North yet we did want something different. Ogunquit is a cool little beach community that's only a short drive from Boston. It feels like the Cape without the... More

This is our fourth stay at this B&B and as usual the room was perfect , breakfast was fantastic. It is a five minute walk to the beach and you get beach chairs, towels and an umbrella.Everything is perfect . I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone.

We stayed here for Ogunquitfest weekend in October . As always, it was about as perfect as it can be. Dick and Linda are gracious hosts, the breakfasts are wonderful, the fellow guests delightful, and the rooms and location of this B&B are second to none. We've visited Ogunquit many times and have stayed in many of the lodging establishments... More

My best friend and I visited Ogunquit in August, and 16 Beach Street exceeded all our expectations! Linda and Dick are the most accommodating, attentive, warm, and all-around wonderful hosts you could ever ask for. We stayed in the Myra Bassett room all the way upstairs, which is perfect for a couple or for close friends who don't mind sharing... More

My wife and I have been regular visitors to Ogunquit over the years but had not been back for over a decade. Since we were last there, Dick and Linda opened 16 Beach Street, which I recalled as a beautiful old house right on the way to the Beach. We were both extremely pleased with our stay there. The house... More

We stayed there for one night and we had a wonderful experience. Right off the bat, we felt how warm and welcoming Dick and Linda were, and this vibe creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The room had plenty of space and was very comfortable, with lovely appointments. The food was so good. The cookies we had for a snack,... More

My husband and I just spend four nights at 16 Beach. I cannot say enough good things about the experience! The inn itself is immaculate both inside and out and you can see the obvious pride that Dick and Linda put into their ownership. We stayed in the Hattie Nagel room which had a very comfortable king size bed in... More

Dick and Linda are quintessential innkeepers, and 16 Beach Street is the B&B you've been looking for. My wife and I were in the area for a business trip and while our visit began as a professional adventure, it quickly became a vacation thanks to the hospitality, kindness, and generosity we experienced at 16 Beach Street. The whole home is... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
16 Beach Street is a classic three-story New Englander style home built in 1920 by the Perkins family. We are a small intimate Inn with five bedrooms. Because of its close proximity to the Beach, the Inn is decorated like a beach house in bright cheery colors. The location of the Inn is ideal. The trolley stops right outside the door and we are within walking distance to great shops, restaurants, the beach and the Marginal Way. Full breakfasts are served every morning along with our signature home-made scones. ... more   less
