We have been staying here for over 20 years. Wonderful location. Walk to everything. Exceptional staff remains. Laura is the best hostess and truly a pleasure to know and call a dear friend. Renovations are great and have really added to the quality of the stay. Except the towels are leftovers from bygone era. One would think with all the...

We stayed in room 106 which is a beautifully appointed suite with terriffic views. The sitting room was so nice you just wanted to stay in. There is a large shared balcony and gardens, so plenty of space to sit outside. The location is ideal and you can get breakfast at Bessies diner a couple of minutes walk away. The...

The Marginal Way House staff welcomed us and showed us to a beautiful, newly renovated room, almost a suite. It was well-appointed and comfortable. The view is stunning. Alas, coffee was served each morning around 7, just outside our windows, and people gathered around to chat and sip. In the evening, they sat in chairs surrounding us. As a result,...

Excellent location close to everything with great ocean views. Un-like many motel like accommodations in the area, this is a charming traditional ":New England" guesthouse with private units also available. Staff ( Laura & Rose-Anna ) are committed to excellent service and accommodating their guests. Grounds are kept immaculate ; beautiful flowers and shrubs everywhere. Have made repeated visits and...

The property is perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff was wonderful and greeted us with a "Happy Anniversary, your room is ready and waiting for you" . The suite we stayed in was beautiful. They had a heart on the bed made out of towels with fresh flowers for us. The view from our deck was incredible! Even though...

Room was clean and comfortable. Employees of the motel were very friendly and informative and gave a good recommendation of a restaurant for dinner. Nice view of the sunrise. If in the area would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Marginal Way house. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants and lots of chairs on the lawn for watching the ocean and relaxing. Nice coffee and tea service on the huge porch. Room 108 was large and comfy, not to mention very clean. Would highly recommend!

The great : All the staff we encountered were top notch. You can tell they really love this place, which I respect and appreciate. The views are to die for. My mom and I loved sitting on the Adirondacks and watching the beach goers and tides come in and out. The location is also ideal, close to restaurants and shopping...
