Monhegan Island is one of the 7 wonders of the world as far as I'm concerned. It's a magical paradise in the middle of the ocean with old world charm. The Island Inn is a fabulous place to stay, relax and enjoy Island life. A must go to on your bucket list.

This island doesn't have many options to stay but if your traveling to Monhegan you know that already. The Hotel has a small lobby with board games and a cool restaurant. So funny experience but the smoke alarms went off when we stayed at the hotel early in the morning because the fog rolled in and tricked up the system....

Monhegan Islands is everything the rave reviews have told you about, but what surprised us most is that 4 nights were not enough! There is so much to do for nature lovers - Bring your hiking shoes! Bring a book and go hide in the Fairy Forest! Bring the art project you always wanted to try! or just sit on...

Although we live where we look at the island of Monhegan, it is always special when we go out for the day or an extended stay. The Inn is comfortable, the rooms cozy with nice baths, the staff very accommodating and friendly. Although we stayed the last day they are open for the season, the breakfast and the dinner were...

We stayed in room 20 on the meadow side of the inn. Room was small, and decor was spare, but very nice and tasteful. The bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was quite large, modern and clean. Very comfortable and nice! The room wasn't very quiet. Could hear hallway noise, doors closing, folks using the hall bathrooms all night. The...

My wife and I had a wonderful few days at the Island Inn. Right by the water, great views, wonderful dinners and breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Most people we met there were repeat customers. Looking forward to another quiet charming getaway there.

I went with a Connecticut birding group for a long weekend. This was the second time around. Five years ago we stayed in the peers colleges were true very nice and this time we were in the main hotel. At least for the shared bathroom proved to be a non-issue. We all thought the dinners were very good and diverse,...

My wife and I spend a delightful few days at the Inn. The food is unbelievably good, lobster scrambled eggs and a full buffet breakfast, The dinner menu is filled with great entrees and the desserts are homemade and delicious. You will have to go a long ways to beat this inn. The view from the porch is a painting.

We loved the Island Inn. Our room, overlooking the harbor, was spotless. A small room nicely appointed with sink, towels and lovely toiletries. The only ocean view room available, when we made our reservation, was with a shared bathroom. We were unsure about sharing a bathroom; but, I must say it was totally fine. The sink in the room took...

Spent 3 wonderful days with my partner and daughter - we stayed in the Pierce Cottage - a gorgeous room - #52. We had our own porch facing a field. We had a fantastic vacation. The staff is very professional - could not have been nicer. Rooms were spotless. Please treat the staff with appreciation and respect - they deserve...
