My wife and I stayed three nights here on our trip to Millinocket. The lodge is located on a lake and the view is beautiful. Rick and Debbie are wonderful hosts and treat you like family. Rick goes out of his way to help you get to the wonderful attractions in the area. Every day Debbie cooks a delicious breakfast.... More

Stayed 5 nights at this wonderful lodge. Beautiful, perfect view across South Twin Lake to Mt. Katahdin. Its own beach with kayaks to use for free. Gracious, knowledgeable hosts, very helpful in planning day hikes and anything else you want to know about the area, its history, everything! Near lots of trails - off the Golden Road, Gulf Hagas and... More

We loved staying at the 5 Lakes Lodge! We enjoyed the area and Baxter State Park. Returning to the Lodge each evening was so relaxing and we met some wonderful people, including Rick and Debbie, the owners. This is the place to stay for a true feel of north woods Maine.

My wife and I visited Maine Highlands during the Labor Day weekend and we're lucky enough to get ourselves in the South Twin room of the lodge. What a great and peaceful place to stay! Took a long weekend to hike Katahdin and stayed at 5 Lakes Lodge. The hospitality was excellent, you can't ask for more from the property and accommodations, and the hike was epic. We highly recommend staying here!

We were lucky enough to get a reservation here during high summer season. Unlike any lodging in town, 5 Lakes offers a very special location right on the lake, with an unobstructed view of Mount Katahdin. You can swim, canoe or kayak by day and listen to the call of loons at night. Our room, done in lodge style, was... More

My husband and I and my son and his girlfriend stayed in the Eagle's Nest for two nights. We were supposed to arrive in the afternoon, but due to United cancelling our flight and transporting us to a second airport, we arrived in Portland, ME after dark and to top it off, it was pouring rain the entire 3 hour... First and foremost- the hosts here are wonderful, knowledgable, warm and friendly. The food is fabulous. The location is divine. The rooms are very comfortable. The exact room we wanted to rent was unavailable (Eagle's Nest) when we were visiting, but they gave us a good deal on 2 rooms in the Lodge, and we were very pleased. Got any... More

So I couldn't wait to tell my traveling companion that I know the perfect place to stay in Millinocket, ME. It was wonderful to be back after 8 years. In 2008, my husband and I stayed... More
