We were on a long weekend for a late leaf peep and stopped in last minute after calling for accommodation. Pamela and Loren are such warm and knowledgeable hosts! Because they were soon to close down for the season, we were put into the hotel though we had previously stayed in a cabin. Both the cabin and room were quaint,...

The pictures make it look quaint, but it is SMALL. Our room was 10x12 which housed a bed (barely queen), chair, microwave, fridge, shelf for some storage and then a space heater. Then there was a very small bathroom and shower. There were just 2 small windows so easy to feel a little claustrophobic. Anyone remotely larger would struggle in...

I stay here regularly during their open season, as I commute to Islesboro. Pamela and Loren, the current innkeepers, are friendly and concerned for the comfort of their guests, and able to give excellent advice about the attractions of the area. Advance reservations are a must for the weeks of local festivals, like the Lobster Festival in Rockland. It's a...

My family booked several cottages for an event we were attending. I stayed in one of the free standing cottages. They have a wonderful continental breakfast with lots of healthy choices as well. The red geraniums were in abundance and just gave the whole place a wonderful look. The rooms was clean and well appointed with coffeemaker, stove,a few dishes if...

Only stayed for one night on a road trip from Portland to Bar Harbour and it was a great location, close enough to Camden to go for dinner and only about an hours drive on to Bar Harbour. The staff were so friendly both on check in and at breakfast, very helpful giving us taxi numbers and information on the...

We stayed at Bayleaf with a group of friends while in town for a wedding! Their breakfast had everything you'd want for a continental. Cottages were private but it was easy to hang out as a group as well. Right on the coast. This was out first visit to Maine, and when we go back, we may stay here again!...

We stayed in a one room cottage but they have various size accommodations including some for families . We actually had no reservations and booked it while on a road trip . The staff couldn't have been more friendly! There is a nice complementary breakfast offered . The location of the cottages is mid way between Bar Harbor and Booth...

Booked a pre-paid night online and were given a room in the upstairs portion of the motel. Bed was very short & small and the room, although decorated in a kitschy red lobster theme, was still a motel room. Very small & noisy room (right on the road and a lot of traffic noise). They do include a small Continental...

It was a nice cottage and dog friendly. Good areas to walk the dog and park the car. Only real complaint we had is that they advertised a private porch, which we did not have. No tv so don't go there expecting to watch TV. It was centrally located to many good places. We stayed 2 nights and that was...

These features are ALL explained for each unit on our website in the section:view the cottages and moyel. There is a comprehensive list of amenities for each unit, photos, and floor...

We stayed for a quick weekend in August 2015. We had to go up for a family memorial service and as it was the same weekend as the Lobster Festival, our choices were limited. I found Bay Leaf and was a bit hesitant due to a couple of the reviews but as long as we had a place to lay...
