We used to live in Limestone and purposely stayed in the Loring Inn for a few days upon our arrival while awaiting our housing rental. Much more living space than a hotel offers and less expensive. I stayed at the Loring Inn and must say that I am astonished at the negative reviews! This hidden gem offers a cozy place to stay when getting away from it all in northern Maine. A former Air Force transient lodging, the place looks like it has not been maintained since the Air Force pulled out. I stayed there in July after driving through New Brunswick.
