All of the decorating shows a talented hand, with a bow to the original Victorian and updated for a very contemporary decor. Excellent taste. The rooms are suites with living area and the bedroom at the back. Spacious and very comfortable. Lounge area shared by several guests is so tasteful. Breakfast is exceptional, made by our hosts. You can eat...

Hi barb201. Nope, we are not on the coastline but within minutes you can be at several beaches and we do provide parking passes, chairs and umbrellas.Even a picnic lunch if you desire. And, just a .8 mile walk to Dock Square. For all the activity before returning to English Meadows to relax in the garden, maybe with our house...

Great inn and wonderful hospitality from the inn keepers. We arrived late in the evening after our flight from UK and we were made to feel welcome right from the start - the pot of tea was really appreciated. Room light and airy and very comfortable. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfasts were wonderful and very relaxing experience. Lovely gardens...

Hi Bryantas. We are happy that you found English Meadows "by chance" and the Bungalow was available for your 2-night stay. October is a popular time of year in the Kennebunks because of the amazing Fall foliage, as I'm sure you experienced. Even the beaches are wonderful that time of year. We hope to see you back.

..you haven't visited Kennebunkport! Prompted by our daughter and son-in-law stay in 2015, we dined at Kate & David's fine establishment while visiting for October 2016 destination wedding. Super clean, meticulous friendly service, and fantastic food! Classy people. Must visit.

Hi fred m. It was a pleasure to host breakfast for the lovely couple, you, and the rest of the family. We often have guests at other Inns ask to come by for one of our 3-course breakfasts. It's always fun. We especially look forward to the newlyweds' return to English Meadows. As well as the rest of your family!

My wife and I had the most enjoyable weekend at the Inn at English Meadows. First, the location is a very peaceful setting and convenient to Kennebunkport. The room was beautiful, with a mix of new and antique furnishings. But it was the innkeepers - Kate and David Parisi - who truly made our stay enjoyable. We felt like we...

What a delight this 9 room Inn is. We stayed in the bungalow (two bedrooms....one with a queen and one with two twins) which hasn't quite received Kate's magic touch yet. But it was quaintly done in retro furnishings, beautiful and cozy bedding. The bathroom was VERY tiny.....one person at a time. A small kitchen for alternative dining if you...

Came to Maine for a weekend getaway and discovered Dave and Kate's first class Inn Experience. Everything, from the accommodations to the "Barefoot Contessa"-like breakfasts prepared each morning by Kate, are exceptional. The Inn is beautiful and extremely classy. Kate and Dave are lovely and subtle hosts. The location, just around the corner from the main tourist center, is absolutely...

Hi Juddlandon. Thank you for selecting English Meadows for your weekend getaway. We have many visitors all year long who just want a restful escape from their hectic, daily lives, particularly during the winter. There is much to do in the Kennebunks throughout the winter months - snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, horse drawn sleigh rides and of course sitting by...

We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon trip to New England and this stylish Inn exceeded all our expectations. It's situated in a quiet location but close enough to Kennebunkport to easily walk there, our suite and the communal rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated, and the breakfasts on both days were superb. We appreciated that...

We took our chances with a spontaneous 2 day trip to Maine during the peak of the fall foliage season - no reservations in advance. My wife got on the phone as we drove, and the first 10 upscale B&B's - always our preference - were unsurprisingly booked solid. We lucked out with the last room at English Meadows, probably...

Hello hoellviken. Thank you for the 5 star rating! During your next stay with us, please ask for fresh fruit as an alternative. Especially this time of year, when the nearby farms are brimming with apples, strawberries, raspberries and many vegetables. All of which we use in our breakfasts.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Quiet Moments suite which has a comfortable living space with a huge sofa, chairs and TV.
