Stayed two nights at the lodge earlier this week and my only complaint is that we didn't book more time there! The views and setting cannot be beat- so relaxing and breathtaking, even on a cloudy day. The landscape and interior are beautifully appointed and meticulous maintained. We had every comfort of home available to us. A personalized note and...

This is a lovely, luxurious inn in rural Maine, with a fantastic view of Moosehead Lake. It was especially nice to be there and watch the leaves turn color. We ate all our meals there and enjoyed every one. And how cool is this? There's a Kuerig in the room.

It was nice to welcome your family back to the lodge and get the lovely fall photos you took. As a coffee drinker myself, the Kuerig makes a good cup of coffee. Jen also taught me things about those Snowy White owls...can't wait to see one for myself this winter. We appreciate your review and look forward to your next...

We stayed three nights in September. Our host, Linda, was hospitable and helpful. The bear room was good sized with lots of nice touches. It would be more comfortable to have a king bed in that room, and it's large enough to have one. There are some nice furniture pieces, but too much in the way of cutesy knick-knacks. Gorgeous...

My husband and I spent four nights in late September in the Allagash suite, which is in the separate cottage right next door to the main lodge. The room was beautifully decorated giving it a cozy lodge feel. We arrived just in time to enjoy our chocolate covered strawberries and champagne while watching the sunset from our private patio. We...

The Lodge is very nicely decorated. The rooms are good sized. We were there it seems at the end of the season and everyone seemed tired. We had a nice stay - 3 nights. All our fellow guests were very pleasant. Our Fly In excursion was wonderful. Jack of Jack's Air Service and Mark our guide following the plane trip...

This lodge has a view of Moosehead Lake and is close to the small town of Greenville for shopping and dining. The lodge is cozy and comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Breakfasts are served in the dining room overlooking the lake. We were lucky enough to see deer and wild turkey while we enjoyed our meal.

The lodge is in a beautiful setting with a view that is wonderful. The Baxter room is excellent with a deck that provides full access to the view. There is an odd swinging settee that takes some getting used to, but both of us found ourselves swinging in it. It was comforting. Dinner on Saturday evening was very good. The...

My wife and I stayed her at the beginning of September and were very happy with the accommodations. The Lodge is beautiful and very well kept and the Landscaping is Gorgeous! Excellent views of Moosehead Lake. Food was very good, did the Campfire Dinner and it was very good. I had the Steak which was very good, not the best...

The Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a very comfortable “north country” lodge with a bit of rustic ambiance. The westerly (sunset) views and panorama of the lake are spectacular from almost any vantage point. We particularly enjoyed sitting and watching the wildlife -- fox and deer -- frolicking on the expansive lawn. The host, Linda, was attentive and helpful without...
