Needed a place to stay while Riding the trails. Friendly Place. The views were spectacular. Small, tight areas for an RV & a Tent, but everyone was friendly enough to make it feel comfortable. I would recommend staying here.

Absolutely LOVE this campground. The owners are wonderful and the campground itself is clean and quiet. A great place to go on a couples getaway or a family get together. Plenty of things to do in the area, lots of wildlife and Mt. Kineo is a must climb! The views are spectacular.

We have visited Northern Pride Lodge & Campground on numerous occasions, from camping next to First Roach Pond to staying in the lodge. We love the serenity of the campground. The hosts, Barb and Wayne, are extremely knowledgeable about the area and can direct you on where to hike and explore. They are both Maine guides and offer several guiding...

I have stayed at Northern Pride twice over the last 3 years in the fall. I enjoy hiking and photographing wildlife and scenery. NP has plenty of both. It's where the pavement ends and the dirt roads and entrance to the Maine's Great North Woods begin. Barbara and Wayne make you feel as if your not only a guest but...

I stayed at Northern Pride Lodge recently before heading out for some backcountry skiing in Greenville. I had stayed in Greenville previously but was looking for a new experience. Northern Pride more than fit the bill. The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable. After quickly settling into my room, I headed for the heated porch for some reading. I was...

This is the real thing....and I'm a Mainer. If you want to experience the Maine North Woods in an authentic lodge, listen to the loons, and watch the sunrise on unspoiled First Roach Pond, this is the place. My son and I stayed here for 3 nights, and enjoyed the quiet evenings, and the beauty of the location, and the...

My wife and I wanted to get away for several days snowmobiling, but we didn't want to stay in a motel. I searched the Internet for a lodge in Greenville, Maine area. Found some but they were very expensive, as much as $300 per day. Then I happened onto the Northern Pride Lodge for $125.00 per couple per day a...

My boyfriend and I spent a truly memorable evening having dinner at this lovely lodge while vacationing in the Moosehead Lake region. Barbara and Wayne are excellent hosts and we enjoyed an elegant meal in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The lodge captures the spirit of the Maine woods with its rustic decor and wilderness ambiance. Fine dining accompanied by the...

Barbara and Wayne Plummer host this awesome lodge in Kokadjo, Maine. We had a wonderful time there. Barbara and Wayne are two of the nicest and accomodating people we have ever met! Staying at the lodge felt like we were staying with old friends even though we just met them. The accomodations were comfortable as could be. The meals were...

“Being a lodge there is only one room that does not share a bathroom. Try to get that room first. But don't let that be the deciding factor. Wayne's and Barbara's friendliness, spirit, and excellent hosting make it a special place.”
