We stayed there for most of a week. When we arrived the wifi was broken and was not fixed until the fourth day but that was okay. We enjoyed being unplugged. On the plus side: affordable, incredibly clean, huge rooms with walk in closet, kitchenette, and huge bedroom. On the negative side: its a bit dated, stove top, no oven,...

In its day this must have been a super place to stay and relax. We met the owners 3 generations of them, and they were super nice and very accommodating . The grounds are well kept and the views of the mountains surrounding the lake are great. We are at their restaurant and the food a super . Now the...

We stayed in Room 2 for one night (with our dog). Our son arrived one day before. I honestly wasn't expecting a five (or even four) star hotel....but this place was really sad! The room as not clean (shoes were left under the bed from previous visitor). The furniture and all amenities are extremely dated and in sad shape! That...

Rented 7 rooms for ATV weekend getaway. The positive is that there is direct trail access. Everything else was bad. The rooms have had no maintenance for decades. Broken moldings, lack of paint, stained carpets, and not cleaned very well. Found several long hairs in shower and bathroom that clearly were not ours. We spend approximately 60 nights a year...

Beautiful lake and scenery but this place needs some serious updating and attention to small details that make or break an experience..for example no working lights in the kitchen. Water in shower stall shifting from scalding to cold randomly. At 5'9" tall I had to bend my knees to fit under shower head..towels and sheets need updating..just tired...rugs worn ..worn...

Owner and Staff know how to treat people and obviously like what they do. Rooms are clean , bar has great atmosphere and food is very good. Just a gem in greenville. Fall colors are really starting to come alive.

My husband and I got married in Greenville in July. We had a small wedding with mostly our friends and we wanted to make a weekend event out of it. Finding a place to hold 50 people that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg proved to be hard in Greenville. Most other places wouldn't even entertain the thought of...

The owner and staff are great. Close to center of town, within walking distance. The interior was 1950's, 1960's. Kitchenette is a nice touch. No a/c, window fans for cooling. The fans were ok at night but in the daytime it was too hot. There is no elevator so if you have issues with stairs request bottom floor. The place...

Spent the weekend here and what a blast food was awesome. Rooms are clean. Bar is a nice addition to any place you stay. Great place definitely going back soon! Very close to moosehead also close to in town Greenville. The owners will answer any questions and can point you in the right direction for your vacation needs.

this is NOT a resort, however, reasonable prices, rooms were comfortable but everything in the rooms looked old; somewhat clean, which is good. spacious grounds, restaurant onsite was not open when we were there, which was not good, since dining options are extremely limited in this area. very nice owners, check-in and check-out is a breeze. good for a stayover...
