My wife and I stayed here for one night and loved it! The room was large and very clean and had a private deck with views of the bay. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They had answers and ideas for all of our questions. The breakfast was also fabulous consisting of a large waffle w strawberries and whipped...

What more can we say than what has already been said? BPat and Jim are the ultimate hosts and chefs. The beds Comfortable with a capital c and the views from each room are spectacular. We enjoyed every relaxing minute. The decor in the home is beyond measure. They provide a reading room for early risers and a dog "pilot"...

Incredible place....incredible view....incredible people...incredible time... I booked this place to celebrated my wedding anniversary. It was way beyond my expectations...I will surely book and visit again in the future. Jim, Pat and Pilot were extremely welcoming and hospitable. Dave and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. I need to say this and will say it anyone who could ever give this place...

We picked this bed and breakfast so we could be outside the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. It truly does have the "Acadia View" as its name suggests. There is even a nice trail down to the bay, where we walked down one morning to find some locals digging up clams while the tide was out. We stayed in...

Stayed one night here last September in order to see the Schoodic section of Acadia NP before going on to Bar Harbor. Very pleased with Acadia View B & B - up to date, beautifully decorated, large comfortable room and bed, plenty of hot water and shower pressure with a nice view even from our first floor room. The owners...

The Acadia View B&B is all that previous reviews have said -- incredible views, gracious hospitality, wonderful accommodations and lovely location. More in the outlying areas of Acadia National Park. We ran into rain, rain and rain on the few days we were there but we still managed to get around and the restaurants we visited were great. The innkeepers...

We chose this B&B based on a Yankee magazine review and we are so glad we did. Stayed one night in their Cranberry Bay room. We chose this Bed & Breakfast because we wanted to spend a day touring the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia National Park. Owner's Pat and Jim Close were very helpful in giving advice on a restaurant...

The innkeepers thought of every detail in order to make our stay convenient and comfortable. They were very helpful with directions to restaurants and other destinations. The inn was immaculate. It is a newer building, not rustic. There are many creative touches on the property. It is evident that a considerable amount of effort has gone into the development of...

We don't often stay at a B & B -- too often they are uncomfortably fussy and lack privacy. Not the case with Acadia View. It is a contemporary building that was built as a B & B. While it is furnished in a traditional style and there are plenty of antiques, it is bright and open and comfortable. Our...

A quiet weekend away on the Maine coast, near Arcadia turned out to be perfect staying here. Beautiful rooms, great views and the perfect hosts. Add a breakfast that can't be beat and it was all we could hope for. If you are in the area, you won't find a better place!!

“Our deck view was directly onto the bay and the mountains of Acadia. I would probably pick the Frenchman's Bay room again.”

“choose a room with the balcony that faces directly toward Frenchman's Bay, some balcony's you have to walk out and around to get the view, so cannot really be seen from your bedroom window...otherwise, any room is fine, as they are all nicely decorated and have access to a private viewing area.”

“We stayed downstairs to save some money as that room does not have the ocean view but since we were out exploring during the day we were fine with that. We did stop back during the day and did take advantage of the private porch that was for this room and from that porch we did have a view of the ocean.”
