I would have to rate this B&B as way over a 5 star inn. The place was immaculate and everything was so neat. Our room was so comfortable and welcoming. The breakfasts that were included were above and beyond wonderful. The Pub in the cellar was great and drinks yummy. Have never met such a wonderful staff as the Oxford...

Tucked at the foot of the White Mountains and 15 minutes from the Stone Mountain Arts Center this quaint country inn is a delight. Everything from the warm reception we received, the lovely room, the wonderful restaurant serving locally grown and harvested fare to the friendly staff is to be recommended.

I must admit we are not used to staying in quaint country inns. The food is over the top good. The breakfast was very good. We ate in the bar for dinner and it was great. The only negative for us was the sence of no privacy and it was not quite as noise proof as we are used to....

Thanks for your feedback, Scott L. We appreciate your kind words about the staff and the meals, and hope you'll consider staying in one of the larger rooms (#1 or Porch Room Suite) which might better meet your space needs.

Wife and I are not typically B&B people, but this B&B is outstanding. Service level is extraordinary and the food served is 5 STAR. We ate breakfast both mornings that we stayed and had dinner once in bar and once in main dinning room. Food is from local farmers and is a culinary delight. Natalie and Jonathan are considerate to...

It's rewarding to hear that we've won over a "not typical B&B" guest. Thank you for your comments about the inn, your hosts, and the 5-star food. We look forward to seeing you again next year, if not sooner.

We needed a hotel or B&B near Shawnee Peak ski resort (there for a race) and the Oxford House looked interesting. Our stay met or exceeded expectations in every way. 1) Very friendly, hospitable and relaxed service. They manage to make you feel welcome and comfortable without hovering. 2) Excellent Cheese plate on arrival, with a delicious assortment of local...

We are conveniently located a short drive from multiple mountains in Maine and New Hampshire; thank you for choosing to stay with us. We're so pleased you enjoyed the room and the service, as well as the food. We hope we'll see you again, perhaps during another season.

We loved the accommodation and the location - and the staff was above and beyond what we have come to expect. And the breakfast was wonderful. But you should know that the rooms are above a very busy restaurant - and we were there as the only overnight guests during the slow season - and it was very noisy during...

Thank you, SleepingAurora, for your feedback. We appreciate your comments about the food and the staff, and we're pleased that you enjoyed your stay. I would like to clarify that our fine dining restaurant closes at 9:00pm and is not known for attracting raucous guests.

My husband and I stayed at the Oxford House Inn over a February weekend. We benefitted from 2 of the packages offered: 10% off when attending a Stone Mountain event, and the snowmobiling/dinner package. Natalie was so accommodating when I booked the stay, and she made us feel very welcome upon our arrival. There are only 4 rooms at the...

We appreciate your taking the time to share your experiences. We were so pleased to create the package with Northeast Snowmobile Rentals and have received very favorable responses. I will happily pass along your comments to Natalie and our chef. Regarding the two smaller bathrooms, we are hoping to make some configuration changes in the future. And we'll look forward...

Natalie was a pleasure! We were late - missed our earlier reservation at The Pub - but Natalie and the waitstaff took terrific care of us. We had a wonderful meal (just lovely) and made it to the show on time. The room was nice and breakfast very good. My only regret is that we didn't have more time at...

I have stayed here many (many) times. It is a wonderful, inviting place to stay. Most importantly, the rooms are very clean and well-appointed. The pillows, blankets, and towels are of high quality. Every staff member I've interacted with has been warm and gracious. Sometimes, it's just my boyfriend and I looking to get away for a romantic weekend. We'll...

Thank you, Sharon S, for your review and for mentioning the benefits of staying in some of the different rooms. We know that children appreciate cleanliness and a welcoming environment as well. We were visiting neighboring towns and this is the perfect between spot- or final destination. Clean, warm (it was winter) sleeping rooms each comfortably appointed, sitting rooms and a well stocked bar. Thank you for your feedback about your stay. At this time of year, we're eager to provide our guests a "warm" welcome. I will certainly pass along your suggestion about a humidifier; we understand how dry the air feels when temperatures dip this low.
