Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very clean and well maintained park. I love how the sites were set up with the net type mat which definitely helped prevent sand & mud in the van and we didn’t need to put our mat out, the sites are also nice and roomy. Pool is good size & well maintained. I would have preferred a code for amenities though, rather than a key, save carrying the key around & I lost one 😬.

We stayed in a cabin here for four nights with our 2A/2C family.

Pro's:
- Cabin extremely well appointed and whilst dated, very clean and tidy. Full size fridge. More than adequate cooking utensils/equipment.
- Park is smallish and very family friendly, and a combination of permanent, semi permanent and holiday makers. Onsite fuel, convenience store, bottle shop which are all well stocked.
- For the fisho's, the park has it's own boat ramp which is fantastic, and fish/boat cleaning facilities, first class. Fuel, bait available on site..
- Swimming pool- big, beautiful and clean. Even has a separate toddler pool which my 3 year old loved wading in.

Cons:
- Cabin has no air con, but we didn't need. Beautiful breeze at night...
- Cabin has a double bed so I was relegated to the 3rd bunk. (We are tall folk).

Overall, this park is beautiful, well maintained and managed. It is a credit to the friendly managers and staff. So refreshing to see places like this still exist!
We will be back.

On our way to Hervey Bay, we found this beautiful spot just out of Iluka. As I write with wine in hand..there are stunning views from my chair outside our van..of the Clarence river, surrounding hill's and valleys and the sounds of birds! So peacefully and quiet. Amenities clean and tidy..staff more than helpful. The little shop has groceries and a liquor store( hence the wine in hand!)So comfortable and with such beautiful surroundings we are staying an extra night. Plenty for the kids too with play area, pool and games room
Truly..a little peace of paradise..well done to management..see you on the way back!

Stayed here for one night, when we just wanted a place to rest, close to the highway.
Wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was such a nice little campsite, with amazing river views. We had a powered site for a caravan, it was nice and level, and everything was so well maintained. There is a pool, games room and kids play area. The amenities are old, but really clean.
Would definitely recommend this campsite.

We had unsuccessfully tried to find last minute accomodation in Iluka but everything was fully booked. Bimbimbi Riverside Caravan Park is about a 5 minute drive outside of Iluka but it was a great little find.

We camped on site 30 which was a nice spot with river & mountain views. The sites were large & the amenities were clean.

There is private access to the river with a boat ramp. The park shop sells ice & bait & lots of other necessities.

The lawns and gardens were beautiful with bbq cooking facilities overlooking the river.

Only stayed one night, on our way back to Sydney. Would love to return. VERY CLEAN amenities. BBQ. POOL, (closed for Winter). Petrol. Grog Shop. Well stocked Convenience Store. FRIENDLY staff. Short walk down to Iluka River. Road to river to take your boat down. Permanent holiday vans, in use total of 180 days a year. Quiet. Stars @ night stunning.

The location is situated next to a tributary to the Clarence River. On the Iluka Road about 6 kilometers from the Pacific Highway and about 300 kilometers south of Brisbane. The reception/Shop is well stocked as there are no other retail outlets nearby. Manager and staff very friendly and it appears they are making continual improvements such as the powered sites with slabs at the southern most end of the park. Amenities are clean. A number of permanent residents with some living on site and others apparently visiting at various times of the year. Two of the park street names also seem a little appropriate with Skid Row being one and another P$$$ed n Broke. However first appearances aren't everything and you take holiday Parks as you find them and we enjoyed the landscape and the powered site we were provided.
