My family of 4 has camped at Cathedral Pines by ourselves as well as with a large group. We had fun every time we visited. Will be going back soon. Lots of hiking, trails for walking, bike riding, four wheeling, canoeing, fishing. Endless options for family fun for kids and adults.

First-time (and wary) camper who thoroughly enjoyed her stay at this campground! Set on Flagstaff lake with a beautiful view of the Bigelow mountains, just 40ish minutes from Lac Megantic, Canada (so bring your passport). Well-maintained beach with canoes and kayaks available for rental. While on the lake, we met a family of loons! Tent sites were spacious and each...

This campground was beautiful, scenic, clean, well-maintained, and well-groomed. Right on Flagstaff Lake for swimming and boating. They rent canoes and kayaks for just $10. There's a playground, a children's rec hall, an adult rec hall, basketball court, and volleyball. Each site is super spacious and clean. No overgrown weeds or trees. Bathrooms and (free) showers are super clean. Camp...

Most sites are very spacious. Waterfront sites offer a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Bathrooms were on the cleaner/nicer side of normal, as campground bathrooms go. Free showers were also a nice plus! Seems like many of the visitors are families who know each other and return year after year for extended stays. Many of them had matching...

If you're looking for a campground that's clean and has great rates, look no further. There's lots to do in the immediate area including kayaking, boating, hiking, swimming, atv's, and scenic lookouts. If you're a person that prefers lots of activities inside the campground itself, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. CAMPSITES: The sites are large, clean, and private and they don't...

Place is well maintained and clean. The lake is just a few steps away. Restrooms and showers are good. They have an inexpensive laundry. Renting a boat is 10$ only for 6h. WiFi was available at the hot spot only. Highly recommended!

Been going to cathedral pines since I was 8 (now 30) so many memories and look forward to our trips every year. It has gotten much busier over the years (for good reason) but the camp ground is laid out well so you don't really notice. I'd recommend to anyone!

I really enjoyed the new table tennis located at the Rec Hall. We got water front campsite #18 this visit, which came with water and electricity that was real nice. I would especially like to thank Denise and David (staff) who found my gate card and went the extra mile of returning it back to me after I lost it...

Awesome place.. Best campground in the state of Maine. You can rent canoes, kayaks, and many other things. Loved this place. Spacious sites, awesome fire pits, very clean. My family and friends loved the experience. This is a must visit if you have a family.

I visited in autumn when the main campground had closed. As such we didn't have access to facilities or services. The few outside campsites were permitted for camping, and we parked our RV for a night-over. The morning greeted us with tall beautiful trees, blooming in colors, and a calm and tranquil lake Flagstaff that reflected the blue skies and...
