From the first moment we stepped into the hotel, it felt homey and comfortable. Patrick and Rene were lovely hosts and made us feel comfortable both when we arrived and while the pleasant breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, well decorated and the whole place was very peaceful.

We stayed on the ground floor of the Inn for just one night as a bridge between an inn in NH and one mid-coast Maine. It was delightful....very nice surroundings and public spaces. Unfortunately my husband had become ill due to some unadvisable picnic food at a reunion, and was unable to enjoy the Inn or the breakfast the next...

I decided to surprise my husband with a train ride for his birthday, in North Conway, over the Labor Day weekend. I had no idea if I could find accommodations. Checking online, I found the Maplewood Inn and Motel in Casco, ME. Patrick and Rene were very kind and had one room available. Upon arrival, we found our room (Room...

I was staying for 2 nights in November by myself and everything about this stay was great! When I got there the owners personally showed me to my room and the amenities available to me. Very clean and comfortable beds and a great TV with lots of storage areas. Microwave and refrigerator and sitting area to eat! A great touch...

We were so very impressed with Patrick and Rene' during our stay for our son's wedding. We had to have a package delivered to Maine for a wedding gift. They were gracious enough to accept it at their inn and had it waiting in our room when we arrived. What we didn't expect was for them to offer to give...

We visited friends on short notice and Maplewood Inn was very accommodating since we needed two rooms on short notice. The hospitality was wonderful as was the breakfast. My wife and I have stayed here twice and will stay again if the need arises.

If you are looking for an unreasonable cancellation policy and rude treatment from the owner then this is your place! Made reservations for a 3 night midweek stay and had to alter my plans unexpectedly. Was informed that they required 1 weeks previous notice and that I would be charged the full 3 days. When I made the reservation over...

Thank you for your input and please let me clarify. Our one week cancellation policy is very common for small B&Bs and motels like ours and not at all “unreasonable”; some of the B&Bs in the region even require two weeks or a month prior notice. Our policies have been in place for over 19 years and never have caused...

We got a very last minute reservation on a weekend at the end of camp season. The motel is very clean and well-maintained, very homey, well-appointed, quiet and comfortable. We felt all the privacy we wanted and all the attentive service we could ask for; the best of both worlds! Rene and Patrick are friendly and helpful, and I would...

We have stayed at the Maplewood Inn for 3-4 years. Every time Rene and Patrick have been the most friendly, accommodating hosts. The rooms are always very clean and made up properly. The breakfast is just right, and their coffee is great. It feels like eating at home. We have had family members stay in the Inn while we stay...

Rooms in the Inn are all different, two have private baths, three are sharing two bathrooms. The motel (2003) has six spacious hotel-style rooms (see photos), some connecting.
