Thank you Kate and Kevin for letting us stay for our week in Caribou. We had a wonderful stay and you made sure that we felt at home in your lovely home and then even offered for us to use the cottage at no extra charge. We slept very well and long, it was always so quiet. The breakfast was...

The room, service and atmosphere are outstanding the minute you get on the property. The views are of the main route into town but the privacy is the best feature which allows the romantic aspect. The property has a classical feel and is hosted by owners who know how to authentically meet your individual needs. They are available for any...

I am so glad I found the Old Iron Inn for my four-day stay in Caribou. It was very comfortable and made being away from home not as bad. Very nicely furnished, spacious room with a comfortable bed. It was great after a long day of work to come "home" to this inn. Kate made delicious, healthy breakfasts like omelet...

I grew up in Northern Maine and when I return, I always stay with Katey and Kevin at the Old Iron Inn. For me, it has a homey feeling, with a large table where everyone is served by Katey. Katey always makes something different every day and I enjoy it a lot. The main house and apartments are clean and...

I stayed there this past winter while I was in northern Maine photographing. The room and house were immaculate. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I had never been in that part of Maine before, but they had many good suggestions on places to photograph. They even set me up with friends to help with access to places to...

Stayed at the Old Iron bed-and-breakfast over Thanksgiving holiday with several siblings and teen & adult children (no little ones). Stayed a total of 4 nights. Very comfortable unbelievably clean. The best breakfasts in every way every day that we've enjoyed a stay at a bed-and-breakfast. There's four bedrooms one has a shared bath. There is a TV/reading room, wireless...

My family and I have stayed at the Old Iron Inn numerous times over the past few years while our children attended school in a nearby town. Kate and Kevin are warm, welcoming, and provide intelligent and lively conversation, in addition to lovely comfortable rooms. Hot coffee and Kate's scrumptious breakfasts are the very best way to wake up in...
