We came here for the first time in the early spring last year. It was our first visit to Maine, and I definitely overstressed about finding just the right place for a "Maine experience." Well, I couldn't have made a better choice. Everything about it was perfect. The location -- right on the sea, with a lovely (and environmentally astute)...

Even the blizzard didn't stop us from having a wonderful time! The room was so warm and comfortable (had a Traditional Room with a fireplace). Next time we may get a suite. The staff was amazing! The food to die for! We ate at the Sea Glass for dinner and brunch (amazing lobster rolls). Cannot wait to book a summer...

This place was just perfect. The garden suite was huge and beautifully decorated. It was great to be able to bring our dogs, and what a wonderful surprise to be able to have them in Sea Glass while we had drinks and then again for breakfast.

We choose Inn By The Sea through "Allinoneweddings.com". We visited the site two times and loved the location so we chose to book it for our elopement style wedding location and 4 night stay. We stayed from 1/22-1/26. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff treated us like celebrities. I have stayed at many hotels over the...

This is not my first time to the Inn, nor will it be my last. Great for the family, and our dog is welcomed with special doggie treats. Beautiful setting with spacious and comfortable accommodations with great and friendly service. We always stay in the cottages/suites off to the side of the inn. You get a large first floor with...

My husband and I have stayed here twice, and we absolutely love it! We got engaged on the beach behind the Inn in March of 2012 and returned for a little anniversary trip in March of 2014; we stayed in the same room, the Spa Suite King, and everything was just as wonderful the second time around as it was...

My son, our 2 dogs and I spent the weekend in Inn By The Sea. We loved it…from the friendly welcome after a long drive on a very cold night from NYC to the way our dogs were treated. There are so many little extras that made our stay special like the daily home-made cookies, local newspaper and bottled water...

This hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff was so welcoming and polite. My boyfriend and I had traveled there for my birthday and stayed the weekend. Bunky and I spent 2/9-2/11 at the Inn. We booked a suite thru Amazon or it would have been way too expensive for us. The service was impeccable and the food at the Sea Glass restaurant was excellent. We got (2) vouchers for breakfast so that saved us about $100. We heard a lot of pets, but never were disturbed...

This is a pretty expensive place (by my standards, and Maine standards) but its one of those places where you feel that you definitely got your money's worth. The buildings are new, but done in a pretty classy attempt at mimicking the Shingle style. There is a main "inn" building and then some outbuildings which have the feel of time...
