My partner and I recently married at the Hawthorn Inn, and it was the best decision we made! From the moment we walked in to inquire about weddings, Maryanne was warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic about our hopes for our big day. Maryanne provided us with plenty of information about local products and services, and we felt very comfortable as our...

What a lovely getaway the Hawthorn Inn provided for my husband and myself. From the moment we walked into the gracious front room we felt welcomed and comfortable. Maryann and Bill are extraordinary hosts: they are warm, funny, and interesting. They know the area, and are able to give suggestions and tips on activities, shopping, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed two...

Along the side of this page there are a number of reviews praising Maryanne and Bill and their Hawthorn Inn. It's all true and accurate. My wife, Fran, and I stayed there last week and we were extremely pleased that we did so. One can't go wrong staying with these very hospitable people. We stayed at the Hawthorn Inn recently with our friends, Penny and Joe. Maryann and Bill made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home. Breakfast was so tasty, and quite different to the normal eggs and bacon! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hawthorn inn. It is homely, spotlessly clean, and very welcoming. Thank you Maryann and Bill for...

I fell upon the Hawthorne Inn through Groupon, it was a great deal and my husband and I are glad that we took advantage of this. My husband and I were due to get away and just relax...and that we did. We enjoyed our room, we stayed in the Cabriolet in the carriage house (lower level), very pretty and very...

The property is immaculate inside and out and has the charm of Old New England. The landscaping is incredible too! We stayed in the Cabralet Room on the ground floor of the...

Visited the Hawthorn Inn ten years ago and was delighted to find on a recent visit that the charm persists! We were graciously welcomed by Maryanne, served amazing breakfasts and enjoyed several wonderful suggestions on where to go and what to see in the area. We felt like royalty during our stay. A perfect weekend get-away!

We stayed for two nights at the Hawthorn Inn and loved every minute of it. The inn is beautiful and well-equipped, clean, elegant, and, above all, welcoming. Maryann and Bill, the innkeepers, were personable and full of information on the area and tips on fun things to do. The breakfast was amazing, fresh cooked and delicious with treats like souffle...

We visited the Hawthorn Inn several years ago and were delighted to find it equally enjoyable during a recent second visit. The Hawthorn exudes elegance and warmth, reflective of the innkeepers personalities. In addition, delicious gourmet breakfasts and a relaxing atmosphere combine to make the Hawthorn a gem in this lovely New England village.

We stayed at the Hawthorn Inn on our honeymoon a year ago, and we decided to come back for our first anniversary. We have thoroughly enjoyed both stays. The owners of the inn are very gracious, and Maryanne gave us a complementary bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary. The breakfast is delicious, beautifully presented, and vegetarian-friendly. We particularly like...
