My husband I have made it our tradition for three years now to "get away" to the Hearthstone Inn. You will not find a more relaxing, pleasant, sweet place to stay or a more delicious meal to enjoy. Chef Michael's creations are the kind of thing you pine for in between stays. The cocktail hour is a great way to...

This is our 5th time staying at the Hartstone Inn. This time we stayed 5 nights. We stayed an extra night because of the snow storm which came through the day before we were scheduled to leave. Every time we stay here is better than that last, and that's hard to beat. This place is the most cozy, welcoming, relaxing,...

My husband and I only stay at the Hartstone Inn one night while we were driving up the coast from Portland to Bar Harbor, but it was an enjoyable one. The location is central to all the restaurants and shops of Camden, though it's on a very busy street which can make coming and going a bit difficult when driving....

We spent two nights here to celebrate by companion's birthday. It's well located in downtown Camden, which is so much quieter and more enjoyable at this time of year when the summer rush is a distant memory. The welcome is warm and sincere. The common rooms are comfortable and cozy. Between 5:00-6:30 pm they offer cocktails and wonderful tapas at...

We stayed here last October in the Hideaway Inn at Hartstone Inn for a couple nights after a New England tour and when visiting my elderly aunt at the nearby Quarry Hill. We arrived to a very pleasant surprise with an upgrade to a suite. The suite was lovely and made for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The inn...

We loved the Hartstone Inn. We stayed in the Arbor Suite, which was beautiful and spacious. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was great with a jacuzzi. The Inn has lots of nice extras, like a lovely breakfast with good choices, happy hour cocktails, and we heard about cookies, but unfortunately didn't see them when we were in...

We stayed at the Hartstone this past weekend in the Mansard Room. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated as is the rest of the inn. The Jacuzzi tub was an added bonus to our relaxing weekend. We spent a day just wandering around the local area -- still plenty to do and see in the offseason. The breakfasts...

This Inn has perfect service- great employees (attentive and sincere). We stayed in the room with the hunting theme that was directly above the restaurant and was small (Wish I knew this in advance or would have asked for another room). We enjoyed our 1 hour massages very much as well, extremely relaxing. Highly recommend! Camden is perfect to walk...

We have stayed several times, at least 3 times over New Year's Eve. We feel so comfortable at the inn because the size is "just right", staff is very helpful, it's so attactive, all our needs are met - and I really like the gas fireplace! We've had various rooms and all were great. This year we were in "Paris"...

Happy New Year! We are so pleased you enjoyed your getaway (and sincere thanks for staying with us again!). Stay tuned for details about NYE 2017/18 - we have decided to implement a new menu option w/ 5 special courses to ring in the New Year.

We've been renting in summer in Camden for years but hadn't stayed or eaten at Hartstone. We had a spontaneous New Years' trip up and stayed here on a friend's high marks for the food. It really was a perfect getaway, we were upgraded (always a plus!) to a great suite but the food is really the highlight. Breakfasts are...
