Business in Canada brought us to Calais for a couple of days. We stayed here because of it's location. Comfortable and clean room. Excellent shower, new TV and a wonderful restaurant next door. Don't do much business in this area but will stay here again the next time I have business there. We also took the time to visit Acadia...

We stopped here to find a room for the night and are glad we did stop. We reserved a river view room on the second floor. This was a nice room with a good view of the river. Every thing in the room worked.

Located on route 1 is this motor lodge. It has two parallel wings adjacent to the road and a two level end block set into the river bank that overlooks the Saint Croix River to Canada. With clean spacious rooms we had a very good nights sleep. A path runs along the river bank and provided a very pleasant stroll...

We spent 2 nights at the International Motel, once on our way into Canada for our Nova Scotia Honeymoon, and again on our way home. It was a clean room and we slept very comfortably. The pipes were a bit noisy depending on the room. We plan to stay here again during all future trips over the boarder.

We arrived in Calais later in the day after driving from Massachusetts, This was the first day of a 12 day trip to Canada and we were going in with no reservations, not knowing how far we could make it, but wanting to get to the border. Nothing fancy but it was comfortable for one night and also very reasonable....

We were on first floor. Very out dated and smelly! Not clean. The owners are not friendly. I have heard that it is family run and they do not care if you are there or not. That seemed to be very true. Very thins walls and floors. Was very noisy. Sounded like the floor was going to cave in. Next...

Not fancy, not super-friendly, but clean, serviceable, and reasonably priced. No bugs, no mildew or cigarette smells, and while I don't remember anything outstanding about the bed, we slept well. We were a bit disappointed not to have a riverview room, but from the reviews I see that the room we did have may have been preferable. We were only...

These rooms are very noisy when someone is in the room above you. The walls and ceiling are so thin you can hear every move made above you. There is no sleep to be had in these rooms and they should not even charge for them. The view of the river is very nice and worth extra cost if you...

We were just so pleased with our first stay here on our way to visit Canada. The area appears safe with lots of parking. An UPPER floor riverfront room was just delightful with a wonderful view (see photo). A good TV with many channels and a basic clean quiet room overall. On our return home we definitely wanted to stay...
