We lucked out when we stumbled into the Colony Motel during a busy parent's weekend at a local university. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with cute decor. Lynn was an outstanding host. Great location with easy access to Bangor.

We stayed here one night on our way to the east coast. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. It was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had a great night sleep! Definitely recommend this motel!

We stayed one night on our way to the East Coast without a reservation. We were shown two rooms by the owner and made the decision to take the larger room with two queen size beds over two double beds. Very clean, with many homelike touches. Friendly innkeepers live on site and couldn't have been more accommodating. We asked for ice and were also offered bottled water gratis. Hot chocolate, tea and coffee in the room, which is equipped with microwave and fridge. Way, way above the competition.

I stayed twice because this is such a nice place. Rooms are quiet and immaculate with lots of homey touches. Lin is a lovely friendly person and goes out of her way to please. On the down side there wasn't a hair dryer (although there was a microwave and tea and coffee) and I found the queen bed a bit...

We had family come from out of state to visit my father. He lived about 2 miles from the Colony Motel. They offer Rooms at great rates. They are very clean and have a theme for each room. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Nice gift shop also. Very homey atmosphere. Would recommend in the future.

What a great place to stay if you are in the area. The couple who run the hotel are as nice and attentive as all these reviews suggest. We had a room last minute for two nights- well kept, modern, immaculate and little touches that made a difference. Only negative was the coffee served in tea bags? Never saw that...

Lynn and Steve have created a wonderful surprise in Brewer. Their motel rooms are scrupulously clean and stocked with thoughtful surprises such as a refilled ice bucket and little Hershey bars for sweet dreams. Our friends and I stayed there at the start of our trip and were so happy, we're returning at the end of our trip next week....

“Lynn gave me room 6, which had two beds. Its toward the middle of the hotel and quieter. Room 1 would be closest to the road. All of the rooms back to green space and have an equal amount of privacy.”
