We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a recently remodeled cottage that was wheelchair accessible (#300). It had a flat screen tv, refrigerator and microwave. We also had an area out front with a chair and table. The complimentary breakfast each morning was great with an omelet station. The dining room is beautiful with the ship models all around.... We are repeat visitors to the Boothbay region and repeat customers of the Rocktide Inn. We have been coming for years; including back when the original owners ran the Inn and were there every day greeting their patrons. Nowadays the original owners' heirs run the Inn and while something things remain the same, some don't, and taking the good with... More

We have stayed at a few other hotels on and around boothbay harbour but the RockTide Inn surpassed them all by a mile. the rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool and access to shopping and restaurants. The breakfasts were outstanding and included. Every morning they had two servers at an omelette station that features fresh... This was our first stay at the Rocktide Inn and we would definitely stay again. The pros are many: just a 5 minute walk into town, restaurant on site is very good and gives a 10% discount to hotel guests, rooms are big and most have a balcony, free hot buffet breakfast included, plenty of parking, no pets, heated pool... We didn't dare to take a shower. Found pieces of plastic in a table. Stains on bed. This supposed to be a mother-daughter trip. Not enjoyable at all.what else can I say? Pictures speak for themselves.

My husband and I just returned from a road trip to Maine. When we were in Boothbay Harbor, we stayed at the Rocktide Inn. We were very pleased with our experience. The location is perfect - just a short walk (2 - 3 minutes) across the footbride and you are in the heart of the Boothbay Harbor village. Our room... More

The Rocktide is across the harbor from the main business center in Boothbay Harbor and reachable via the walking bridge. You have to navigate around several other hotels and restaurants but it's worth the ten minute walk. The restaurant has an outdoor deck on the harbor with great views. There is also an indoor dining room overlooking the deck with... More

My husband a I brought my in-laws up to Boothbay as a treat- they visited yearly and stayed at the Rocktide before they stopped being able to travel alone. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the property! Their room was fine - my husband and I took the front corner room that faced the restaurant so they could have a... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in early August, and it was great. We booked last-minute, and it was almost full, so we ended up in two different rooms. The first two nights we were in room 300 - and what a delight that was! A gorgeous little oasis with an adorable little spot to sit out... More

Pros: great location, close to footbridge, free parking, delicious complimentary breakfast, restaurant in the inn has wonderful seating outside on the deck, trolley (which we didn't use because the walk was easy) Cons: rooms are simple and a bit outdated yet clean, wi-if is terrible (however the view and surroundings should keep you entertained), bathroom fan sounded like an airplane...
