This historic inn is absolutely awesome! The building dates back to 1865, and has its own charm. The owner Sandy is absolutely wonderful, and really cares for the inn, and is very intuitive with a genuine care for the guests coming in. Her staff on hand are also great as well. The breakfast outstanding! Thank you!! P.s. it's the first...

We have stayed at the inn a couple of times and find it simply delightful. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. A great place to get a way to. The breakfast is simply delicious. Home made bread made into the best French toast or pancakes. Amazing. Close to the downtown restraunts

During our trip around New England, one of my main goals was to stay in a b & b. We traveled from Vermont to Maine and hoped to find a place to stay in Bethel. We stopped at the lovely Chapman Inn and found there was a room available. I'm really bad with names, but I believe the owner's name...

Great experience! Lovely place to stay. Breakfast was great and the owner was very friendly. Lots of fun stuff to do in the area.Experienced our own haunted memory of mysterious music playing in the night. Would highly recommend staying there.

We were in Bethel for a memorial service and wanted a comfortable, relatively inexpensive place to stay. We lucked out in finding the Chapman Inn. It is charming, very conveniently located, and the room rates were quite reasonable. Although the room we had was small, it was very comfortable and quaint, was quite adequate, and the bathroom was surprisingly large...

This is the third time we've stayed at the Chapman Inn, the first time in 2014. This trip we've stayed there "coming and going". Sandy makes you feel at home and goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone!

Very quaint bed and breakfast . The owner Sandra goes out of her way to make one feel at home.We used the dorm rooms which were inexpensive and comfortable . Breakfast the next day was filling .We will look forward to spending some time in the inn itself for a quiet get away .Thanks again .

Such a warm and inviting B&B. I felt like I was bothering the owner when I made several requests - adding someone to breakfast that was not on reservation, ice, wine glasses, hair dryer and extra power plug. All received with such a huge smile. I was truly relaxed after a long journey from Phoenix and the owner did everything...

I brought my girlfriend here for a surprise proposal. Everything went spectacular especially with the extra little help from Sandy, the owner. We also loved that the inn is dog friendly. We'll definitely be returning to this charming B&B with our dog in the near future.

She said it was haunted. The owner/manager perhaps was blowing smoke. The first floor and office area sure smelled of it though. The clutter in the common area was weird. Her barking dog needed restraint in the breakfast area. The too chatty folks in the morning breakfast needed restraint too! I think the queen mattress was clean but old and...
