Larry and Rose have created a spacious and comfortable place and they pay attention to the details. Great coffee ready at 7, terrific shirred eggs and toast w juices and fruit for breakfast - or the great breakfast buffet. We had a relaxing stay - clean rooms w updated bathroom and a good bed. We recently spent a night at the Alden House B + B in Belfast. We arrived late but Rose, our hostess, was welcoming and made us feel right at home. The house is big and beautiful, and in amazing condition. If you're in the area and need a place to stay, we're pleased to recommend that you stay here. Staying...

Loved the poached pears (farm to table) and egg dish at breakfast. Nice accommodations and great location for walked to shops, restaurants and the harbor! The innkeepers were extremely helpful in planning our activities.

I believe the house is 175 years old, it is beautiful. Larry and Rose are so nice and very helpful, nothing is a trouble to them. We thoroughly enjoyed the sday and the breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend staying at Alden House.

Just back from three nights at the Alden House in Belfast. Our host and hostess were soft spoken and welcoming, and a good source for restaurants and things to do in town. Our room on the first floor was small but well designed with a private bathroom. Breakfasts were delicious and imaginative and the cookies and tea in the afternoon...

A fantastic B&B on a quiet street within easy walking distance of downtown Belfast. The 19th century house is thoughtfully restored and the hosts make it a very comfortable destination. No need for TVs when you've got this kind of place to relax in!

We spent two extremely restful nights in this lovely B&B located amongst historic homes on Church St. The house is large and elegant and the inn-keepers were attentive to guest needs. We slept with the windows open--it was wonderfully quiet and the air was crisp and clean. We can't imagine a better place to stay in Belfast.

After staying in quite a few B&Bs both in the wine country here northern California and in coastal Maine, Alden House was by far THE very best! Larry & Rose are exceptional in every way! No wish goes unfulfilled and every moment with them in their spotless and most beautiful Inn is to be cherished! Our beautiful room was huge,...

Looking for a quick getaway, we booked this B&B at the last minuit and headed up the coast of Maine. There are really only two or three B&B's in Belfast but there are a lot of budget and up motels in the area. This was within walking distance of the waterfront and a beautiful, well-kept building. Lots of architectural period...
